I do Valued Opinions and Lightspeed. I did Opinion World for a while but kept having problems with the surveys. Seem to get a good mixture of surveys between them both.
Didn't do much at the weekend, painted the bedroom walls yesterday, OH is now 'dying' of man flu so will need to be on hand for sympathy! :rotfl:
Payday on Friday, looking forward to the total coming down!

Hi Pennies
Saw you on Jody's thread so thought i'd check out your diary too. I don't know if your student loan is similar to mine (mine is a lot bigger from 4 years of uni around £20,000 odd)
What i do know of mine is that it gets taken out my earnings monthly and apparantly it gets written off once i hit 50 or something. I would love to pay mine back one day bnut it's not realistic at the moment. What does annoy me though is the way the HMRC and student loan company have swindled it so that the money is taken out your pay every month but only gets subtracted from your loan once a year.. so basically they make interest off what you pay out, and then also interest off what you should've paid off your loan, but they've kept somewhere else for the year.
I really hope your's is not the same way. I only know this due to some involvement with the student union at my uni. Is shocking really!
I know that the interest will be going up now as well as it's to do with the rate of Retail index in September.
You are making good progress with reducing it though :TEngaged 25/12/2013 :T

Yup mine is the same PB, half my rants about the loan are to do with HMRC keeping it for a year and that's also the reason I've set myself until the end of March to have it paid off, so I don't enter another year of payments.
Only 156 days to go...
I'm so frustrated though  Because of the interest going back on the loan the outstanding balance is slowly creeping up daily...I'm only £1.03 in interest away from being back at £750...I was so happy to be sub £750 too...
Problem is I'm skint until payday on Friday, but then there will be radical changes to the totalsVSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

My sister said that she will be giving me more car money in November, is it cheeky to ask her when and how much she thinks it will be?VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
I'd say just drop it into conversation as you are working out a budget
.
How is your OH feeling now?

He is still ill but back at work anyway and not dying anymore, although he did have a major coughing fit at 3.30am and left me wide awake for an hour or so
