If My Pennies Were Pounds...

That's a stroke of luck pennies!
I think its crap when expenses are not paid out on time. I have nearly three months line rental and broadband still outstanding from my company - grrrrr0 -
So many people seemed to be locked in never ending battles over expenses and it's so unfair
Good news on your Mum's win though Pennies, and good news on the £10 to the loan!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
The most annoying thing is that our work is basically 2 different companies, the guys in the other company can walk in, produce a fuel receipt and get cash in hand.
I have to hand mine in on a form monthly and get a transfer in to my bank supposedly on payday but it never happens that way.
Now I'm not complaining about the bank transfer part, in fact I much prefer it because then it can wing its way to the loan and not be frittered on c*ap!
It's the fact they get it instantly and I have to wait a month, and sometimes longer...I think she just puts my form down and forgets about it
Anyway rant over!VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

Not sure, she hasn't really mentioned it, she was just in total shock that she had won!
Good news people...unofficially of course...
:j:j:j:j:j OH PASSED HIS EXAMS :j:j:j:j:j
I say unofficially because his boss is good friends with his dad so passed on the news early, he will officially find out from his work soon, just need to wait and see if he still has a job now...VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

OH just got given his pass certificate at work, he's now officially a fully qualified electrician
And he has informed me that his apprentice contract is dated up to 3rd December, guaranteed work for another month anyway. I've told him to ensure he buys my xmas presents in November just in case :rotfl:VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -

Congratulations to your OH! That's a big achievement and whilst I know jobs are a bit up in the air for him at the moment, being a qualified electrician will stand him in good stead for the future
.
I bet your mun is so glad you talked her into going now, that could be a nice Xmas pressie for someone . I think I am quite lucky with my expenses as it's my trainee that writes the cheques so he does them when I give them to him and we pay them into the bank when we do the work banking so I never wait more than a few days. The trouble is that the powers that be where you work probably don't realise your situation so don't think it's urgent....maybe you will have to be brave and say something my love?
Very happily married on 10th April 2013
