* running in before work, 4th 12 hour shift in a row today so excuse spelling and waffle.
I havent quite managed to reign in my fellas spending in the garages, hoping it will this week though as we start with our pocket money today. He has gone without his today as he has started late and took food with him he says he will be ok. told him i will chop his head off if i so much as see a garage transaction on the account!:rotfl:
Well have 4 days off after today and they are so needed. One day will be to conquer my massive ironing pile, one day will be for batch cooking for the freezer and will have both boys on thurs and fri as school breaks up so will do some baking and see what the weather holds for the rest. will be nice to have lesuirly mornings with them instead of rushing to get out the house for school (and we get up at 6.30/7am)
Not much going on with the debts at the mo, paid off the usual now have been paid and just waiting for the others to come out the rest of the month. Got my cake money now so will put that into the bank tomorrow and transfer it to the debts.
Well, off to work, no rest for the wicked.

The pocket money idea seems to be going well so far (only 3 days in but hey) and my fella has only spent £2 of his so far and i have spent none. This might actually mean the statements we get from the bank each month might not come on so much paper :rotfl:.
Have got a little money waiting to come to go towards the debts, have got £50 cake money (with 4 more cakes on order for august and sept) £28 waiting from quidco, over £60 from the house phone company as dont use it and has mounted up.....................and still got my fellas overtime £280!
Gonna ring up sky later and see how much it will be to have the house phone with them. If the adverts are true i should be able to make a saving as they give you broadband cheaper if you have both with them, so will save on phone and broadband bill.
Done my free scratcheez and checked online banking. Thats about it money wise.
Still really want the house we have seen, using it to spur me on, might not get this one but once we are debt free we can save for a big deposit and take our time to look for another equally beautiful house. Although i am a firm believer that if its meant to be then we will get it at some point. Or we can save to pay off chunks of this mortgage so will have a bigger deposit that way........................but thats way in the furture.

I have another cake order!!!!!
The woman who its for said i can charge her anything and she will pay.....................................?!?!?! It still suprises me just how much people will pay for a cake. Think im gonna charge £60 for a 2 tier cake, does that sound reasonable? Just trying to piece together a design now.
More money towards my debts!!! and doing something that i love. Think i am gonna have to look into getting my hygiene thing for my kitchen soon as the more people that know about it the harder it will be to say i only do it as a favour for mates.December 2018: £20,850.24. Wow :j How many cake orders is that now?!
It's great that you can make some extra cash doing it, and is more people knowing that you do it really a bad thing?VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
I now have 3 christening cakes for august (one is a double order for 2 children) and a wedding cake in september.
I am loving the fact that people who have never met me are asking me (via friends) for cakes as they like what i have done. Must be doing something right! Guess the more i do the wider the circle of people will see it. And to think it all started a year ago when i did my mates wedding cake for a favour/pressie.December 2018: £20,850.24. The weather here has turned awful! Had a good thunderstorm last night and today its raining very hard, just as we got a hosepipe ban too :rotfl:. Does mean though that i have to go back to using my tumble dryer, might save on ironing though if i get it out quick enough and hung up.
Not so much going on with money, OH is sticking to his pocket money so far this week, its nice not to have so many transactions to look through on the online banking. I still havent dipped into mine, would of spent loads on my days off usually.
Going to do lots of baking today with ds1, and it should save us from buying snacks and cakes when we go shopping. Did a shopping list last week and we came under budget so gonna keep it going. Just need to get back into meal planning again.
Really hoping we get some nice weather soon as still hoping to do a car boot at some point, there are no indoor ones round here that i know of (must look into this though......)
We have decided that there is no way on this earth we can afford the nice house we have seen, so OH has agreed to let me do a little redecorating when we come back from wales. Ds1 is staying down there for an extra week (we are staying with family) and we had already decided to re-do his room into a more bigger boys room with money left over from what ive put away but we are also going to do ds2's room (not been done since before he was born and we didnt know whether he was a pink or blue) and the bathroom. (this only takes 2 rolls of wallpaper so really cheap) Good challenge for me to get it all in under what money we have so i can put some to the debts and not feel guilty.
Well thats about it from me, off to think of some nice, easy and cheap meals for next week. ds2 now starting to try all sorts of food i give them (instead of living off chips and bread) so can be a little more adventerous!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I know what you mean about trying to decorate and keep within budget! Works out well when B&Q and Homebase have sales quite often though.
