So he has been (unfairly) dismissed, which I am sure you are dealing with. But why does that mean he should be entitled to ESA? You are saying he can work and therefore should work. Ergo, he should be claiming JSA?0 -
I don't for one min think DMG is snooty or arrogant.skcollobcat10 wrote: »Why do you have to come across as arrogant and snooty?
The person was only asking a question, who the heck do you think you are?
Melbury - Somebody will come along that will answer your questions or give an explanation, unlike this tos*er!
Sometimes it's easy to misconstrue what is being said when a smile isn't used to set the tone.
It's also very easy to take offense when you are worried and stressed.
Give her a chance she is actually quite helpful
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted
I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p

ESA or JSA he would rather not be claiming any benefits, he would love to go back to work. Finding an employer in the current climate who will employ somebody who has been dismissed due to ill health is difficult.0 -

Which is why several of us gave you a lot of advice regarding retraining for more suitable employment.0 -
I had 3 cancellations as the ESA doctor phoned in sick.
Was the ESA doctor himself tested by Atos for being sick?
If he wasn't, it's probably for the best - if there's one thing Atos are no good at doing, it's spotting sickness.
Word of advice, to anyone who has an ATOS medical to attend - audio record it. You'll wish you had if you don't.0 -
Do any of you have any good ideas what my husband could retrain as. He is 53 so has a good few years left before retirement age..0

Its very common I'm afraid.
Hi Moonlight ,
I'm curious . Its my understanding that if someone does not attend their appointment( as in a DNA) that ASOS can stop there benefits? Is this correct ?0 -
My OH had his medical assessment last Wednesday and received a letter this morning saying he had been placed in the work related group. Must say I thought this was a very quick response, the doctor said we would hear in a couple of weeks.
Does anyone know roughly how long it is before Jobcentre call you in for a pathway to work interview. Do you have to attend the Jobcentre on a regular basis?Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
