  • no deposite on mine just the "cleaning bond" which is their scam way to keep a lower chunk I guess, said on anothe post but might be worth repeating here, if we all banded our woes together and put forward a unified complaint to watchdog, trading standards, etc maybe we can make something actually happen?????

I agree with this. I havent personally dealt with IRD , Sunhil Dhown, Karolina or any of the jokers down at IRD homes.

im sure they wouldnt want me as a tenant anyway , Id give them hell.

I think something will actually happen.

At the moment we have absolutely NO IDEA how many people have read this thread and chosen not to sign a contract with IRD homes.

As we know prevention is better than cure!

The more info shared about IRD homes and thier questionable wrking practices the better.

was your property cleaned when you moved in? any photo evidence or inventory signed?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

  • The evidence is mounting, Sunil Dhown is obviously a c-word.

I hope he gets his comeuppance. Getting Watchdog involved is a good idea, I remember they did a feature on a dodgy student Landlord a few years ago. Maybe they would like to have another crack at it. It would only take one person to fill out the form on the BBC Watchdog website.
