  • I have just had a look at the cached thread on google.

    The OP has been quite straight with his opinions and is obviously a bit upset (so would I be) but nothing that would end up in court.

    If these opinions are based on fact, which I expect they are, then it seems like this business would rather make empty threats of legal action than actually improve their customer service and quality. I always find that a bit strange that some people would rather do this than build a reputable business.

    Advice = avoid.

    Maybe other Ts who have posted of their difficulties are "perhaps a bit unfair" too : there are other mentions on this Board & elsewhere.
    Erm, the fact that few, if any, would have noticed a simple thread deletion is exactly the point. People often remember names from particular threads, so "highlight the name with a retraction and all will be well"......;)

    I had not seen orriginal thread and hadn't done any research so couldn't make a comment regarding the LL, hence I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to said LL.

    On the retraction point, I assumed (maybe naively) that few people had seen the original thread and very few would remember the name - therefore from the LL's perspective the important thing is protection of reputation by removing "unwarranted" criticism from the web.

    does anyone want to open a book to see how long this thread will be by 8th July 2.00pm ? (2 days hence) - my guess would be 8 pages ......

    Doesn't that depend upon the number of messages you see per page. I set mine to 50 when reading Eager Learners deposit saga and have never regretted it.

    I believe he has set up a new company with his two sons and a friend called Mr Deeper - just to keep the Status Quo.

    Dhown, Dhown, Deeper and Dhown Ltd

    I'll get my coat....

    On 13 April 2010, I published a post on this forum which made reference to my experience as a tenant of Mr Sunil Dhown in a property managed by IRD Homes. I have recently been contacted by Mr Dhown, who has made it clear that the publication of both the details of my experience and my opinion of the approach taken by IRD Homes in relation to its management of the property has caused him distress. In order to bring the matter to an immediate conclusion, I contacted the webmaster of this forum and asked him to remove my post and the replies to it, which he has kindly done. I would also like to take this opportunity to confirm publicly that I regret any distress that has been caused by the publication of the details of my experience as Mr Dhown's tenant and any opinions that I formed as a result of that experience.

    Isn't it obvious that you are Sunil?

    Not necessarily the case. Unlikely he hacked into the OPs account and posted this. More likely that he bullied the OP into posting this, which would tie in with the underhanded and threatening behaviour that has been posted about this man on this and other forums.

    Oooh! That's a can of worms. If you go to the google cache, you will find that you can click on Lorddeni's ID and click through to end up at the Original Post of this thread.

    So it is the original ID. Has Lorddeni been forced to hand over the keys to his ID here to Sunil?
