If the original post and comments were true then you should grow a pair and repeat them. You cannot be sued for making true statements - no matter how much 'distress' it causes.

If they were untrue then you shouldn't have made those comments in the first place.

Maybe but I suspect Mr Dhown and his solicitors may not be 100% delighted with the effect of, presumably, their carefully worded statement.

Anyway, if you Google Sunil Dhown and IRD Properties you will find that he and his solicitors are going to be quite busy with other forums.

If a solicitor wrote that statement, I would sack them for incompetance.

I assumed it was purposely thinly veiled by the OP and, if so, he seems to have done a fine job.

Inside track never understood that their insistence that any critical posts on Singingpig be delted gave them Soooooo much bad publicity that it was a really dumb thing to have done..

the owner would remove the content and just put "this thread has been deleted due to litigation threats by Inside Track" - Property Tribes has done the same thing .... everyone knows what that means - it means "avoid like the plague" - so OP many thanks for warning us about this awful company

whatever bullies try to do - they will be launched into the public arena via tha WWW - and long may it be so...

To have free speech, you have to be the one with the most money.

I think the retraction tells us just as much as the original post must have done - only in a way that the OP can say freely :rotfl:
