Enigma cleared up...yes they do scan at Tesco but they shouldn't really take them (have pm'ed you, if I was the first I will pm my address later as I rarely go to Somerfield if at all, and would appreciate some different vouchers to make my stash look varied!!):D

My best mag freebie was the Sanctuary product too - I got the Mandelular - lovely! Worst was the Elle vest - soo thin, and sooo long! If they'd doubled the thickness and halved the cloth it would have been better! Still, got the Elle free with vouchers, so it's totally reprehensible of me to carp, lol!

Completely gutted! Been all around Norwich this morning trying to find Octobers Good Housekeeping but all gone :( That'll teach me for not reading this thread sooner, but only noticed it last week :o

    Just wanted to check....

Does anybody actually read these mags we buy for the coupons ?

I have just cut the coupons out of another 2 Goodhousekeeping/Coast mags ( I have SERIOUSLY lost count of how many I have bought this month - I usually throw one in my trolley when I'm R&Ring:D ) and the Asda mag ( thanks for the tip re the WKD) and thrown the mags straight in the bin !
I admit I am SssooooOO bad now I don't even think about how good or bad a mag is, except in terms of the freebies and coupons etc it contains.
I wonder if the writers/editors etc think that THEIR work this month must have been really exceptional, and all thier efforts were worthwhile as their sales have sky-rocketed, or do you think they KNOW that a couple of good coupons and a free mascara and it doesn't matter a jot what features are in there ?
Same goes for the newspapers - although buying the Times everyday last week ( in multiples of 3 and 4) also made the sa look at me with new respect for my superior intellect and reading capacity :D
God I'm such a mercenary philistine.

I had six of the GHs last week and decided rather than put them in the recycling, I'd try handing them out in the street. The six ladies I chose as my victims all looked rather taken aback but none of them said no! Not sur if it counts as a random act of kindness or not :D

Just for fun I wondered what had been YOUR best mag freebie in the last month? My own was the Sanctuary Kyphi body butter I got with the Marie-Claire voucher.

Same here, I just love this stuff. :) Like others have done, I bought the extra copy from WH Smith (my first copy was on subscription), and got some extra points in the process.

On a more pragmatic note, I love the Good Housekeeping coupons - bought this magazine from WH Smith too. :D

Overall, this was a very good month. Hope the following months will be even better! ;)

    Hi all,
Just got this week's Woman and Woman's Own (October 16, on sale till next Monday).

On page 50 of Woman's Own there is a 50p off coupon 'stuck in' like a post-it note, for Ducolease. Woman's Own costs 78p.

The same coupon is on page 62 of Woman but that costs 85p.

Don't miss it if you are buying the mags anyway. :o

You're very lucky LittleBill. I didn't get anything in the post this morning, no Prima chequebook, nothing at all. :(
