  • Hi!

My frist day with two coupons at the self-scanning machine was very successful. I felt like a child on Christmas day!

However, the following day the SA asked me where the coupong where from and when he opened the machine (how embarrasssing!) he said that they (Asda) do not admit coupons from other supermarkets (Somerfield).

Do you think that he will be looking at me next time I go back to the self-scanning tills? I have some coupons from Asda but I am sure he will say that I am not buying the products... feel a bit disappointed. Does anybody know any supermarket where they are not so "efficient"?

I shop at Tesco and they are usually fine with accepting coupons :D . However I only use genuine manufacturers coupons (so Tesco can claim the money back). I wouldn't recommend you use Sommerfield/Asda coupons in Tesco and vice versa as they can't claim the money back, so it's a bit naughty :naughty: and could spoil it for us all. There are lots of good coups in Fresh magazine at the mo. (if you can get hold of some). Try and check the newspaper thread and this one each day.
    Good Luck next time
