Magazine offers (freebies, coupons, discount codes) - CHECK FIRST POST FOR UPDATES

I need some technical advice regarding the WHSmith link. Whenever someone finds a new link I put a shortcut on the desktop. I went to print some off this morning but the desktop shortcut was for the may the 8th one so I clicked on the other two and they both came up as the May the 8th ones. So I did a C clean to get rid of cookies and still got the May the 8th one. So I went to post one on the magazine thread and tried the link for the June one - guess what it came out as the May the 8th one!

The moral of the tale is I think to print as many as you think you will need at the time a new link appears otherwise you might not be able to get it again.

I've even tried scanning one of my June coupons in which was fine but when I printed it off it has come out at A4 size :rotfl:

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

The same is happening to me now, when I try to 'see' the June coupon. Both links are for 8th May. I think this has happened to some of us before, but I really don't know how to fix this. Hmmm, strange.

I probably sound a bit stupid but can I use internet printed ones at the self scan at Tesco? I'm worried if I try and scan it, it might beep and I'll get told off for not buying the product. Also can I use the wholefoods one from the get active packs even if I haven't bought anything from that variety?

Everyone is talking about using the coupons from mags etc, but wasn't sure if they'll scan okay or do I have to go to a till to redeem it? I'm a bit new to the MOCs!

Hi,you can scan any coupons at the self scan it beeps at you if you put too many through,not quite worked out the % they take before it bleeps,today i used £4.50 worth of coupons on at £16 shop, I use self scan because im scared off going to a sa that will refuse me!! HTH:o

I always use the self scan tills - for the same reason as you. You can get away with using approx 20% worth of vouchers before the till asks for approval. I often go over this limit and have been lucky so far, in that the SA always approve my vouchers...well, so far they have, who knows how long it will last though.

Apparently there is a 10% discount code on page 35 for Red Direct. I can't find it in shops we've gone on to June now.
