    Many thanks!!!!

And yes, I was being blind!!!! I don't know how many times I went thru it looking for these, I think it must have been the fact you need to fill in your details that meant they didn't register as vouchers with me.

Once again, many thanks for saving my sanity!

I bought the November Sainsbury's magazine yesterday, costs £1.20.

First of all make sure you pick up the one with the small sample of Green & Black's organic chocolate inside the cellophane. Ok, scoff that and then find:

£1 off Green & Black's miniatures coupon (says Sainsbury but NCH barcode)
£1 off filetti powder/liquid (baby toiletries AFAIK, says Sainsbury but NCH barcode)

Then near the end (sorry didn't see page number and I've already recycled it!) there is the usual page of Sainsbury-specific coupons (usual story, they are not supposed to take these at Tesco but many cashiers will, they do scan) and they total £11.30:

    (ALL marked 'Sainsburys magazine')

£5 off Dr Gillian McKeith's Living Food Energy 165g
£1 off Lotus Freshness Toilet roll 9 pack
£1 off Flavours of World Belgian Chocolate coated fruits
£1 off French Connection Reserve Merlot or Sauvignon Blanc
£1 off Cono Sur Pinot Noir
£1 off Hardys Nottage Hill Chardonnay
50p off Sainsbury's Fresh British chicken Thighs
30p off Richmond skinless 12 Fresh Sausages
30p off Uncle Ben's Cooking Sauces
    20p off Sainsbury's prepacked parsnips

FINALLY, if you are quick and pop in to Sainsbury's over the next few days, on the CS desk there are leaflets for £5 off £15 Tu Clothing, valid till 8th October. Apparently these also scan at Tesco for some reason.......;)

    HTH

In tesco at Bolton there is 2 large posters as you drive into the car park saying they take Asda and Sainsbury's coupons just to let you know

I work for Thomas Cook Group of Companies. My companies ATOL/ABTA numbers are J9500. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it but Atol numbers can be checked on the Civil Aviation Authority website. Yes, but the only posters like this I have seen specifically refer to '£x off £xx' type vouchers, and the posters show examples which are only these particular vouchers.

I have not seen one that says 'coupons' (like we are talking about), can anyone confirm if Tesco has printed a different poster this time? Would be good if they WERE supposed to take the magazine ones but I thought that technically they are not supposed to (even though they scan OK).

    Thanks.:o

  • Hiya just been to Tescos by the magazines they had a promotion on:

Either buy Ideal Home magazine or Marie Clarie (cost £2.90) and receive a money off voucher (Tesco specific for next month's issue).

I bought Marie Claire and got a £1.00 voucher off the December issue (the magazine includes a free bag). I didn't get Ideal Home as the voucher for that one was 50p. For buying the magazine today I was also given a free goodie bag this contained S Factor Serious conditioner with sunflower seed oil 150ml and a bar of Thorntons Viennese Truffle (yummy).

Now I did try to use the £1.00 voucher against the issue I bought but the till would not accept it.

I also asked that if I bought Ideal Home and Marie Claire could I have 2 goodies bags and 2 vouchers. Unfortunately, she declined but gave me 10/10 for trying !

I'm off to sister's Hen night shortly so will post about Marie Claire and any offers probably tomorrow as it will take ages to put the get the chippings and plaster ready so I'm decent for tonight's partying LOL

  • Oh I forgot to say I had a till spill for Love it earlier in the week, and used them in combination with the vouchers from yesterday's Sun so the magazine would have been free.

However, it was sold out but when the till spill went through the till it took the money off - does this mean that any till spill money off vouchers we get might just do the same - I hope so !!!

Went to my local High Street today and Tony & Guy had their latest magazine out - for free.

In page 39 there is an offer - Free L'oreal Treatment when you have colouring service done. I know - who can afford? But still an offer.

The magazine comes in a celophane and also comes a H&M Magazines - no offers visible but pleasant presentation of the winter collection

I must admit I NEVER fill in the details on any of these money off coupons/vouchers - unless the sa on the till insists, and 99% of the time, they simply check the use by date, and scan - if it works ok,if it doesn't scan thye hand it back.
I think I've been asked ONCE to fill in the details.
Would love to see the faces of the staff collecting these Coast coupons - I must have had about 50 if you inc the 2 in GHK and 2 in coast. I think they would have known my name and address off by heart :D
