    Thats pretty sick of him.

the children think so too!!! He has told them a complete pack of lies.. but they will see through it sooner or later and it won't do their relationship any good.

sleeve done.. just one more to do...

Valli - it is lovely to see you so obviously happy. IMHO I think your children are not far off adults, and it is a mutual respect thing to treat them as such and reasonable to take their opinions into account.

Greenbee - I guess your are busy - and I hope it is with something nicer than just work!

I, on the other hand, have been busy with work and have done nothing at all this week.

Time for an emergency clean this morning and then hopefully play in the garden. I want to get the last of the cherries and either make more jam or freeze them. Both the blackcurrant and cherry jam are lovely so I am now a convert.

Loads to get done today, so i'll be working on my own list.

    Own list.
    Bathroom cleaned.
    Back hall tidied.
    Clean car out.
    Wash the car.
    Wash all bedding.
    Cut grass front and back.
    Do a message in town.
    Clean windows inside and out.
    Clean rabbit out.
    Brush up round the path.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Piggers is right - children do need to be told BUT (oh can I see both sides of every argument) as they grow older they need to get more adult in their attitude BUT as mine are teens and I wouldn't be happy with DS having a sleepover with a GF because DD might then expect to do the same I'm going with the separate rooms. Which, bear in mind was OH's idea and HE is probably more comfortable with that. I haven't ASKED him to meet the Vallikids...his idea again...he also said he didn't want me to 'push' them out of THEIR home. (And if Linda Goodman is reading this from where ever she will SO know my star sign :rotfl:)

And in my family there have been quite a few 'living togethers' and I'm talking 1950s onwards...as kids we just assumed people were married! And one of my Grandfathers was married 3 times having been both widowed and divorced...well I'm assuming he was actually married...

Anyway in my Half hour with Juliejim I

pegged out the last of the washing
    put away yesterday's ironing
pegged out DS's 'in use' bathtowel as he has gone to play 5-a-side so he will want a bath when he comes in and it was too damp
tidied up in dining room and cleared and wiped table
got out bedding for tonight - put (thankfully clean and ironed) spare cover on spare duvet, got out sheet and pillowcases
    Put CDs away
washed last pots and put cat's dishes in to soak

now off to do a proper clean in DR

    Morning all,

(keeps fingers crossed that the internet doesn't die in the middle of typing this post, as it has already 4 times this morning).

Had lovely day yesterday. My friend couldn't take me to lunch yesterday in the end cos she'd forgotten it was her dad's birthday, so we went for dessert on Thursday night instead. So, after taking Ebony to the vet for his vaccinations (very stressful for him and me, as he gets so scared he pants, sweats, heart rate goes up, and he drools - Ebony this is, not Moon), we went to Gunwharf for the day. We went to a new restaurant there which was really nice, and had a lunchtime deal of pasta, pizza or salad and a drink, for only £5.75 - I had a gorgeous pizza called Melbourne which had butternut squash, pumpkin seeds, brie and caramelised red onions on it. Moon had the New York pizza which also looked good if you are a meat eater. We then shared a vanilla panacotta with berry compote for only £2.99. Quite an MSE meal. Moon was a real shopaholic though, as he bought 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of trainers, 2 belts and something else, which I can't remember off the top of my head. I went to the Whittards outlet and got 3for2 on some flavoured instant coffees (caramel and hazlenut), and some loose leaf mango tea. Had to buy a tea filter thingy to go with the loose tea. I also got 2 books from the works for Christmas presents for MIL and Mum (cat stories for cat lovers).

Only downside to the day, is I've burnt my back from sitting out in the sun during lunch, so will have to make sure I completely cover up today - luckily it seems a bit cooler today.

Plan for today after I've had my shower and got dressed, is to go round to bridesmaid and get her to try on the dress post-alterations, do the meal plans for next week and do the food shop, put the 3 loads of washing away that Moon took in for me last night and didn't put away (he never puts anything away), and then chill out I think - may go to the library and see if they've got any good books, as took one back last week, and could do with another one as TV is a bit rubbish at the mo.

Well I've waffled on for ages now, so I'd better get on with things.

Hugs to all who want or need them,

    sexymouse xx
