In my slightly extended HHC I've

    Cleared drainer
Washed the last of the dishes
    Brought in the washing
    Ironed washing

So I'm quite pleased with that.

I'll join you macpep and valli.

DH has come up with the idea of going to Rhyl for the night. Could do without it really as I've got loads to do and I haven't done any washing this week so I need to get some done. Don't know whether we will go or not yet - see when he comes back from the chiropodist.

FWIW you're only here once ... and how excited would the Juliejimlets be if they SUDDENLY got a day at the seaside? You'll be off work soon anyway!

    Morning all

Valli - have a lovely weekend. I'm sure it will be fine.

I've had a shower, DW is on and I've been out for a few bits from the market. We've had a change of plan and won't go for a day out today. Thorsbury (sp?) market in two weeks, instead. It's too hot to be trudging round anywhere.

Some cleaning first, then I'll clear a bit in the yard so I can water that patch with weedkiller. We tried to have grass there, but the space is too small and I want to keep it covered for a year (get rid of weeds) and then put flags down. I'll do pics eventually.
Then DS2 and I will go into town. He needs a haircut and I need all sorts of stuff for the activity week. Poundshop, here I come. Apparently there's a little park in town, so we can have a picknick, too.

Happy flying (or chilling out), everyone. x

Right back from a big shop and significantly poorer :o however I did think a little about meals rather than just chuck in a load of random buys so one of my jobs today is to visit the meal plan thread and have a go at that. Pleased its still earlyish so lots of time to do more. I WILL start to get to grips with this house this weekend I have realised I will probably not be able to do that much during the week most of the time so I perhaps need to see fly lady as more a weekend activity which will make the basics simple during the week, hope that makes sense. Today I will focus on downstairs and the garden and tomorrow I will hit upstairs.

    so todays list

    [STRIKE]laundry and hang out[/STRIKE]
wash my bedding and the spare room
bedding back on (before midnight preferrably)
    shopping away
freezer inventory to start meal plan
    back garden mow and tidy
    water baskets
    tidy kitchen
    hoover all downstairs
    clean the conservatory
    clean downstairs loo
replace bulbs downstairs (sorry but i found non eco ones in asda:j)

Ok that will do for now but I am hoping to add a few extras on later watch this space

valli it sounds like this man will be good for your kids so go for it and enjoy kids are very accepting imo

trouble is now I'm all nervous...
now...do I say anything to exH or leave it to the Vallikids to blab (because they will). He NEVER told me when he got a new GF and he's living with GF3. Knowing his attitude re strangers (and peedos) he will jump to conclusions (because that's his style) - but I have been expected to allow the Vallikids to spend time with the GFs while knowing VERY little about them. (I only know GF3's surname because she's a friend of DD on Facebook)[/QUOTE]
Valli He's your EXKH. It's none of his damned business.

It's great that your man cares about what the Vallikids think; Have a lovely weekend!;)

Just a v swift post from me; hair is now back to its proper shade of red (did have grey roots) and we're of to Bedfordshire Show in a couple of mins.

Laters, all - and have a lovely day everyone.:o
