    Listy done!!!!
    Windows outside cleaned.
    Patio swept
    Part of garden weeded.

Seem to have an invasion of black thunder flies here, those very very small black things.

Tottally packed with traffic around here, with none grand Prix traffic, OH has gone out on his bike, to have a look at it all!!!!! he has also 'discovered' that Silverstone wants track marshalls, for various events during the year, so he is condsidering applying.....

I'm having a well deserved rest now.

I'm back! Results of HHC are below! Have also picked 2 lettuces from the garden and prepared my lunch (tuna salad yum!) plus a huge bowl of salad for tonight's tea. I've just had my lunch sat outside listening to the birdies.....much better than the racket I get to listen to at work.....I work on a steelworks and it's noise and dust city!

I've just put a 2nd load in the WM and now the basket is empty....it seems like a long time since I last saw the bottom of it!

Next job is a walk into the 'village' (it's more like a town to me as I originally come from a 'proper' village that's much smaller than this one!). I'm going to buy some things to make homemade burgers and veggie kebabs for tea. I'd like to do a barbeque but it'll depend on how lazy I'm feeling later as OH won't be home from work till atleast 9pm! Otherwise I'll just cook the burgers in the griddle pan on the hob. I might have a drive to the fruit farm later and pick some strawberries and raspberries (if they're ready yet) to have for pudding....again depends how lazy I'm feeling after my walk!

Anyway...here's the list....oh but now computer room/area for me !

Friday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear[/STRIKE] and clean the floors in these rooms - couldn't clean the floors as OH needs to locate the mop hadle for me! i'll do them all in the week.
[STRIKE]Air the rooms.. Clean the radiators in these rooms
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    [/STRIKE]
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc - don't have any of these but did dust the lapdog!
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc whatever needs cleaning[/STRIKE].
[STRIKE]Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. [/STRIKE]and delete 10 dead/unused links from your favourites!
[STRIKE]Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Collect any stray laundry from upstairs. [/STRIKE]

    Extras

    • Wipe the paintwork in these rooms
    • [STRIKE]shine the taps [/STRIKE]and descaled the shower head! - the shower head is beyond redemption!
    • Wash the windows in these rooms.. [STRIKE]and shine the mirrors [/STRIKE]
    • clean the light fitting and bulbs

Quite a successful half hour really although it wasn't too bad as OH did it a few days ago.

Car now all lovely and clean in the inside. 1 black bag of rubbish and 1 bag of stuff to go back into the house.

Gonna grab something to eat and then head into town, it's starting to rain here.:( I want some sun.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Right back from a big shop and significantly poorer :o however I did think a little about meals rather than just chuck in a load of random buys so one of my jobs today is to visit the meal plan thread and have a go at that. Pleased its still earlyish so lots of time to do more. I WILL start to get to grips with this house this weekend I have realised I will probably not be able to do that much during the week most of the time so I perhaps need to see fly lady as more a weekend activity which will make the basics simple during the week, hope that makes sense. Today I will focus on downstairs and the garden and tomorrow I will hit upstairs.

    so todays list

    [STRIKE]laundry and hang out[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]wash my bedding and the spare room[/STRIKE]
bedding back on (before midnight preferrably)
    [STRIKE]shopping away[/STRIKE]
freezer inventory to start meal plan
    back garden mow and tidy
    water baskets
    [STRIKE]tidy kitchen[/STRIKE]
    hoover all downstairs
    clean the conservatory
    clean downstairs loo
[STRIKE]replace bulbs downstairs [/STRIKE](sorry but i found non eco ones in asda:j)

Ok that will do for now but I am hoping to add a few extras on later watch this space

valli it sounds like this man will be good for your kids so go for it and enjoy kids are very accepting imo

    So far so good :)
On top of the above I have also batched cooked a sausage casserole bubbling nicely in the slowcooker this should provide me with about 5 meals and a huge load of bacon and sprouts (does for a quick meal for me or a veg potion) which I have frozen into 6 bags:j
Today is a very good day as I also won £50 on the premium bonds:)
