pigpen, I am very cross on your behalf.

regarding condoms. cadbury flavoured ones....don't taste like cadbury. Apparently. Someone told me. Honest. :p

Today I have swept the kitchen floor.
I also took boots for her injection.

But have done nothing else. It's too hot . And the baby won't stop grizzling!

DH took the older 2 swimming this morning & now he;s taken them to the park.

Pigpen~~I am also cross as well, I would screw him over for every penny you are entitled for the children, go for everything he owes, via what ever means to have too, and every resource you have at your means, I would forget being nice now. (indeed a true scambag, timing is right on cue!, and I bet he bluddy knows it as well)

Just one point, why don't the courts allow babies there, is it a local thing or a national thing, having not been to court since I was 10 and the judge wanted to see us kids in relation to who we wanted to live with during parents divroce, and that was many many years ago.

Greenbee - I guess your are busy - and I hope it is with something nicer than just work!
I was away with a group of girlfriends for a spa day :D and got home today to find that the shelves in my shed have been sorted out and it is lovely and tidy :j:jHopefully there will be room for the second freezer that is going in there the week after next (it was in the shed in Devon, so my dad is dropping it off on his way home.

I, on the other hand, have been busy with work and have done nothing at all this week.

Time for an emergency clean this morning and then hopefully play in the garden. I want to get the last of the cherries and either make more jam or freeze them. Both the blackcurrant and cherry jam are lovely so I am now a convert.
Jam sounds delicious. Don't overdo the flying - the garden is FAR more important!

Valli - hope you're having a lovely weekend;)

Since I got back I've been to the farm shop, and into town to pick up a prescription and go to the health food shop for bits and pieces. Also got a very nice purple Hobbs mac in the sale.

One load of washing on the line, one lot of stuff soaking in colour run remover (I forgot when I put some stuff in stain remover that there was something pink in the bowl :o). Need to get some more washing done, and then my list for the rest of the weekend includes:
    • More sorting out in the shed so I can move stuff in from the utility room
    • Sorting out in the utility room so I know what extra space I have
    • Feed & spray plants as appropriate...
    • Kill weeds (now I've finally unpacked the crates in the shed)
    • Cut hedge
    • Mow lawns
    • Clean fridge
    • Freezer inventory & meal plan
    • Do more washing
    • File some paperwork
    • Do the ironing
    • Bribe friend's daughter to do ironing and cleaning for me for the next couple of months...
Busy week next week - governor training on Monday evening, probably working in London on Wednesday, and I think we have a governors' meeting then too. Need to do some work this weekend, as I have to get stuff moved on and get myself organised to prepare material for Wednesday

I've skim read the last few pages, so apologies to those I haven't mentioned, but did want to make sure Toots, Piggers & LW aren't overdoing things :p

the court won't let anyone in other than the people they are dealing with.. that includes newborn babies apparently!! I'd have to leave baby with OH which I am simply not going to be able to do at 2 weeks old!!.. and if I end up being mutilated again I won't even be able to walk that far to get there in the first place..

I'll speak to the solicitor on Monday and see if he has any sensible suggestions

Put yer foot down! Also his solicitor is just trying it on on his behalf.

pigpen - it's outrageous. I completely agree with PP, why would a father do that.

greenbee - let me know if you do work in London wed and are free for a coffee/food in the evening.

I have dozed on the bed with the fan on for an hour. We are going out for dinner with DH's parents and his brother & Sil tonight (though we have to pay for our own as parents can only run to paying for one lot of us lol)...better be air conditioned or I am coming straight home! I need to wax my face and shower before we go I think. Should also remake the big bed as won't be bothered later!
