Pigpen your solicitor can apply to have the date of the hearing changed wot a b******d as if you should be paying the fees he really is a tight fisted :silenced:

It is usual that no-one else is allowed in to the family courts the only courts you can go into and watch a case is the magistrates court and crown court unless it states its a closed court, Children are not permitted to go into most courts under the age of 16 unless they are a witness to a case or involved in a case or the judge has requested them there.A lot of the time they use cafcass to get a childs opinion now especially in contact apps as they can see the child and get there view without having to put them through going to court.

I hope you get it sorted pigpen he should be paying the fees himself its not like he pays for anything else.

All fed and watered in this house.

My cat has a swollen LHS of his face, but he is eating, and does not seem to be bothering him, so he has either been bitten by something, / got caught on a prickly bush or similar or been scrapping (which is unlikely) so I'll on watch to see what happens, I think it is bothering me more than him...if it gets worse he is off to the vets, hopefully on Monday as it is cheaper, but if it gets worse, I'll ring them tonight or tomorrow...

piggers - are you not getting legal aid? - you dont have enough of an income to have to pay and he is the party at fault - I would make sure you are there - have a babysitter on standby at the courthouse (your sister?) he is unbelieveable - he is as you say trying to make your life difficult but he should know you better - squeak had better wait!!!!!!! as the others have said make sure he pays for everything he has not contributed to - make a list - i would keep quiet at the mediation so he is off guard for the trial? make out that his latest letter is nothing to you? huge (((hugs))) and all the positive vibes I can muster that it goes in your favour and he pays big time!!!!

When my friend went about her divorce I went with her and looked after her 1 year old in the foyer.. so oh might have to do that.. at least it is air conditioned so noone will boil to death!

I think it is unbelievable he has the gall to even suggest I pay the fees when he forks out nothing for these children!! I haven't asked anything from him only that it would be nice for him to make a contribution towards their trips and prom etc.. which i wouldn't find unreasonable.

I can honestly say I never thought he would abuse the children in this manner.. but I never thought he would sleep around either.. just goes to show doesn't it?!

I know he reads here as well so I hope he is suitably ashamed when he does!

kaz .. make sure puss doesn't have a dental abcess!! It might also be a sting if he is prone to bee munching!

Toots .. yes I get legal aid but the court can decide I have to pay the costs and that would negate my legal aid and I would have to pay ALL my fees and the court costs which is what he is trying to do.. BUT.. he has already told me he 'might' be being made redundant soon.. and if he is I am going for a portion of the money for the children.. 2 can play at nasty tw@ts.. and I am better at it!

Toots~~yep I'm ok, I wouldn't have minded so much if I was 20 years old!! but I still fail to understand why they never knocked on the door, they have never been here before, and it is normal to knock on the front door when arriving at someones house for the 1st time, instead of walking round a large wheelie bin, undoing the lock catch on the side gate and entering the garden!!!

Pigpen~~ I don't think he has been bee munching, as he has been flobbed out all day upstairs in the draugh between the bathroom and the bedroom, he is eating, washing, purring, and rolling around upside down currently on the floor as he normally does, OH thinks he may of scratched himself with his leg, however I have pointed out he doesn't have a leg on that side for scratching!!!

JoJo - loving the converse (I have the sky blue ones), and taking slight hope that one day the CSA may pay us the £2.5k they agreed to pay in compensation for maladministration back in February.

I did the loos, washed uniforms, our bedding and most of the kitchen. DH did the DR table and made the TV aerial work again. Does anything else matter?
