well decision semi-made - Miss Valli is happy for him to be in the house but not in the Valli bed. I can hardly force that one then try to discourage her from 'casual' behaviour later...
Looks like the flop down in the lounge then cos no-one is kipping on my sofas

    I'm too hot!

I actually fell asleep this afternoon - unheard of, never sleep in the day unless I'm ill. Two weeks to go to end of term....

I've done a very little flying - bit of tidying, and washed main bedroom linen, and DS1's. I'll do DS2's and DD's tomorrow.

I have however decluttered three teenagers (one of mine and two borrowed extras) to the local festival.

valli - well, may not be the result that you were perhaps hoping for... but have a good weekend anyway! No-one sleeps on my sofas either. I'm also exceedingly anti them sleeping on the new cream carpet either, but have had to allow it occasionally.

Are there any Hertfordshire flyladies living anywhere near Stevenage? DS1 wants to go to Knebworth for one day, and was wondering if there may be any accommodation that doesn'tcost the earth - a Travel Lodge or bed and breakfast? We're a bit concerend that he may be too late to get a train back here.

I think I have worked this out right!! you should be able to see pics of front room all done it has taken a long time to get it to this as when I moved in there were double doors that were very old and very dangerous and a very old fireplace that was so sharp on the hearth edges that every time DS fell over he ended up with a whole in his head from it so both were ripped out and now I have finally managed to get it all decorated!!

When's he going? Is it for a festival thing? There is a novotel at the entrance to the park which would be costly. There are at least two hotels in the town - a couple of miles away one is a huge holiday inn. They do have camping onsite I think. Let me know when it is and I'll see if I can help out.

Kids been glued to the 'breaking news on the tv'. I've had a pimms and a cheeky 10 minutes snooze. Last window all bleached of mould so blind can go back up tomorrow once the glass is cleaned. That will be a job well and truely done.

Busy weekend as ever with cricket, golf etc so flying will probably be dailies only but I must do the bathroom tomorrow and push the hooover around upstairs.

  • Friday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Air the rooms.. Clean the radiators in these rooms
Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    Wipe house phone
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. and delete 10 dead/unused links from your favourites

    Shine the taps

Managed to get the above in between work and the girls coming round for tea and film. Is so nice to not feel ashamed of the state of my house! Thanks for the motivation flyladies! :D

    quiet on here tonight

Well the upshot of it is OH (note upgrade;)) is going to go with HIS suggestion of 'coming here and kipping on the sofa' with the understanding that, although it will be that room it will be the Ikea flop down bed...MUCH more comfortable :) (twas bought for sleepovers) and I've 'got to behave':rotfl:*rolleyes*;))
he is more concerned about the kids being comfortable with it all, especially DD who, frankly, isn't (she feels it's too soon for him to sleepover with me) but we will go out in the evening and again in the morning - so he'll be here but not too much.

    Hummmm

this is all beginning to smack of long term plans....:D:D:D:D:cool::cool::cool:;)

    oh well

scans floor from shelf on which is usually resident to see if is worth jumping off again...

apols for typo - no glasses
