Now I can officially hold my head up high. I have changed 4 blown halogen bulbs from the kitchen and I have light again:j Also tried to change 4 blown bulbs from my lounge and dining room but didn't have the spares. I doubt they will do them now so will have to hunt out some of those horrible new eco ones which take ages to give light and even then its not right. Wish I had stocked up now. Anyway I also washed the light fitting glass bits couldn't believe how filthy they were.

Eco-bulbs have come a long way recently :) Try buying some more, and you should be pleasantly surprised :D

    Evening all

I'm sooo glad it's the weekend, even if it's going to be a busy one. We were due to go on a trip to the coast again tomorrow, but couldn't get tickets. DS1 suggested that I drive, but I really don't fancy a two-hour stint twice in one day by myself. Too tired.
If anyone can recommend something that's within an hour from J36 of the M1, I wouldn't mind some flylady inspiration. I'm catering for two teens (DS1 and friend, both 16) and DS2 (6). The 'big boys' have requested something with shops, but I'd like something else to do for DS2 and me. At the moment I'm thinking about Bakewell/Castleton. Access to a poundland or similar would be good, as I need to get stuff for the activity week in school. Could always go to M'hell on Sunday, I suppose.

I'll try and catch up with everyone later. x
