  • Valli, they will be fine (if slightly grossed out at the thought) about you having someone stay over. All you have to say is that you have invited him over just for the weekend. If they ask where he will be sleeping, a 'look' usually suffices. [NOT that it's a regular occurrence HERE!]

    But be prepared on Sunday morning, when you are making two cups of tea to take back upstairs, to get a bit of stick from the little darlings. If they still look a bit unsure, I find that a rapid application of Bacon Sarnie cures most suspicions.

    Oooh. More bass practice. My hands are getting much stronger - and the lovely callouses are beginning to build up on my fingertips. I'm surprised I can do this, but it's fun.

    CBA to fly. Helped DD2 do her room yesterday evening. She has a floor!!! :eek:

    Friday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    Clear and clean the floors in these rooms
    Done (Mr LW) Gave bathroom extra once-over with hand-held vacuum.
    Air the rooms.. Clean the radiators in these rooms
    Done
    Level Two
    Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    Done
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Done on LR day
    Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
    Done on LR day
    Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Done all I could get to on LR day
    Level Three
    Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc whatever needs cleaning.
    Done
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. and delete 10 dead/unused links from your favourites!
    Done; checked bookmarks list, they're all current.
    Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
    Done
    Collect any stray laundry from upstairs.
    All in washing bin aleady
    Extras

    • Wipe the paintwork in these rooms Done all I can get to
    • shine the taps and descaled the shower head! Done
    • Wash the windows in these rooms.. and shine the mirrors Done
    • clean the light fitting and bulbs Done
    Listy all finished.:D:T

    Valli - think of a time your children have annoyed or upset you and get PAY BACK! Put a dvd of a certain nature on in your bedroom...lots of grunting etc...then go out for the evening:rotfl:. Leave them to their imaginations! Ok, I'm just cruel!

    cleared gibble from top of electric/gas cupboard
    cleared DS1 bedroom floor :eek:

    I'm not doing the school run today so in a bit I may do another HHC.... :eek::eek::eek: :rotfl:

    Put wm on conditioner rinse cycle
    Watered indoor plants
    Sorted recycling
    Put dry dishes away
    Washed up
    S & S kitchen
    Put washing out
    Wm x 1

    Monday Kitchen & Dining area
    Extras
    1. HHI
    Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 3
    Open a drawer.. sort the junk within!
    15 minutes sort of the junk on the landing!


    Wednesday - childrens rooms and spare rooms
    Extras
    1. Find 5 things to ebay/freecycle
    Thursday ~ Bedroom & Landing
    Level Two

    Put the floordrobe in the wardrobe
    Find 10 things to get rid of!..
    Level Three
    Vacuum the landing and bedroom..
    Sort the airing cupboard/linen store/towels etc.. make it all neat and tidy!
    Remove some dust mammoths and wipe over the paintwork

    Put 2 bags of books on swap sites
    Sort bathroom stuff
    Get OH to take 1 cabinet
    Oh didn't bring his car so he couldn't take this, hopefully he will tomorrow
    Get new fog light before MOT
    Re arrange weigh & measure as it clashes with MOT
    Wrap & post 2 books

    Almost time to pick up Ds1 now. Ds2 has taken his clothes off and put his Pjs on for some reason. :cool: I may leave him like that, we won't need to get out of the car so no one will know.:o

    We have that regularly then but usually from the freezer:rotfl:

    My HHC didn't really go to plan. I went in the kitchen to unload the dishwasher, I did the bottome then thought sod it and had a bacon butty instead:T
