I have cleaned out the bathroom and did 1xWM, 1xTD, Cleared the hall of gibble and I plan to hoover/mop all the floors tomorrow before we go.

I just realised the time there and have just stuck dinner on:o

I should have time to do a wash tomorrow so all the clothes we have on will be done and put past before we go that way I'll just have the mountain we bring back.

Valli Sorry you've had a hard day honey hugs x

Toots You must have some restraint I would have slapped them! and then told them they are taking up valuable spaces that others who want to take part can use, but then I am a cheeky so and so. Possitive healing vibes for your wound honey xxx

    piggers you could...I don't know...dust it?

Why? It just gets neglected and ignored in the corner anyway so what is the point?

Toots, healing vibes for you sweetie and some people are just born to moan, sadly they are happy doing it.

Valli , well done for helping your pupil, it's often good if children can let out their feeling to adults outside of the family.

Time to mop the kitchen floor before seeing if the blind still fits.

    Evening all

Had a productive afternoon, how productive we will know in a few days!

Miss A and I picked almost 3lbs of red currants :D and I have since removed all the stalks and rinsed them. They are currently in a tub in the fridge, I am hoping to give this a go when I get some strawberries, sugar, thermometer, pan and jars!!!!! If I can't get all the bits tomorrow then I will freeze the red currants and try at a later stage.

Any thoughts or advice gratefully accepted as I have never made jam before :o

Are you sure it is not the wind from the weekend which has weakened them? and lack of water.......if it is not too late, give them a few days, and a bucket or 2 of water.......

It has grown there successfully for quite a few years, DH and I chose it together, but alas despite me watering it when it started to wilt it has all died off :( I am hoping it will sprout again as it is beautiful when it does flower.

Metalman is in my Cardoons so he looks small, but he is actually about 90cm tall.

Wow he is fantastic, your DH should try commissions or selling what he has made on line.

Toots some people eh, huff said  have a HUGE HUG from me ;)

Valli I am sure your help with the boy was appreciated. Sometimes letting it out to someone not so close is easier, that plus the routine of school will help him.
