Clean windows and all glass.. [STRIKE]including the tv screen
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure![/STRIKE]
Open a drawer.. sort the junk within - 15 minutes intray
15 minutes sort of the junk on the landing - stuff to loft - DH
[STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/STRIKE]
Check the smoke alarms
Extras
sort shoes and coats and bags!
[STRIKE]Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.[/STRIKE]
Restring blind, iron and rehang
Wash blinds 2 and 3 if one was successful!

Front hall now looks great.:D Lots of junk out and all empty boxes sorted for my sister, i'll go down later with them.

Just got an email to say I've won a £5 voucher with one of the survey sites – so I now have a total of £25 in Amazon vouchers burning a hole in my virtual pocket!:j

Onestep I'm so pleased the woofer ate all her chicken; I do remember when Penny-dog was getting elderly, and her digestion not what it should be, the vet put her on a chicken'n'rice and fish'n'rice diet.

Dusty how is Woody today? Do I need to send healing/appetite vibes?

Molly sorry to hear you have the wretched mouth ulers too. I haven't been to the doc about them – I doubt there's much she could do, it just goes with lupus:( (plus I'm quite run down just now) and I'm soooooo scared of medical bods.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Toots the pink stuff for mouth ulcers that tastes horrible is Anbesol – that's what I'm using! I've tried Bonjela and Rinstead pastilles in the past, and neither touch the ulcers I get. Not heard of Difflam – is it OTC or would I have to visit the dreaded doc? Thankfully they're improving a little (albeit very slowly) – thanks for asking Kezlou. Still having to leave the lower plate out a lot of the time though.:(
In fact major thanks to all who have expressed sympathy. If you can keep the healing vibes coming for a bit, I'm certain they'll go down a lot quicker.:o

Helen yes, PTFE tape is wondrous stuff – when BG made a mess of our central heating, and we had an independent plumber in to sort it, he said the BG guy had done up the fixings with “no PTFE tape and a limp wrist”. *insert rolleyes smilie*

I think I need to do a HHC to do the dusting, as there's all the dragons to move to do it thoroughly (though I think that today I may just dust around the really heavy ones) – anyone care to join me 14:45-15:15?

Declutter and wipe worksurfaces
Wipe table replacing cloth if necessary.. [/STRIKE]
Level Two
Clear out a cupboard.. or those drawers you have stuffed full of junk!
Wipe and replace small appliances.. Clean one thoroughly!
Sort your medicine cupboard.. do you need to stock up on anything? Hayfever meds? plasters? bite cream?
Level Three
Wipe units and large appliances.. don't forget kickboards!
Empty and clean out the fridge. Work all the almost past its best stuff into this weeks meal plan.
Clean door seals, deterrgent drawers and filters on the appliances .. run through a clean cycle if you've not done one in a while

3. Defrost the freezer if that needs doing.. shouldn't take long in this weather!

Are you sure it is not the wind from the weekend which has weakened them? and lack of water.......if it is not too late, give them a few days, and a bucket or 2 of water.......

Well, it took a bit more than half an hour, but the dragons are now all dusted, as are the surfaces they live on, and those with crystals have had them shined up.
So that's today done.:T

Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe No clutter on floor anywhere in bungalow, other than what's meant to be on floor in spare room (stores)
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything Done
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen Done
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure! N/A – only things there are a vase of silk roses and two dragons (all meant to be there)
Level 3
Open a drawer.. sort the junk within! No drawers in L/R – tidied box of electronic stuff (chargers etc) instead
15 minutes sort of the junk on the landing! N/A
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself Done (Mr LW)
Check the smoke alarms Done

I'm off for a HHClean the house up at 3.45 if any one wants to join in.
I will go and stick a wash on to start with then take it from there!
