    hard day today

a little boy's grandad died; he was told last week and seemed to be bearing up...

but floods of tears this afternoon and I almost joined him...oddly enough it's my first 'bereaved' pupil...
I was at a loss really but told him that he would always be able to remember his grandad and think about the special times they had together and keep the memories safe in his mind and his heart. And I did pop out and tell mum he'd been upset, too.

One more day then we're into the last two weeks...and boy am I ready for a L-O-O-O-N-G break...although I have planning and prep to do; and we are going to do some flying in the classroom, I hope...

Wardrobe is now on the landing and my bedroom looks HUGE!!
Must vacuum in here though as my beautiful carpet is looking a bit bitty and flat.

OH has some pics his dad got him a few years back which we are putting up in here instead of the front room which will be nice.

Tomorrow I have another busy day.. I need to pick up moomins new shoes.. Tiddles will be in next week.
I have to get my mother to fill in the relevant bits on the forms I need to post.
I need to finish sorting the bags for when the baby arrives..
I have to nip to the bike shop and get the correct valve for the pushchair wheels and get that sorted.
I need to pop some stuff to the dry cleaners as well.. inc DD1's prom dress

Would it be incredibly awful of me to get rid of the dolls house my dad gave the girls at christmas which they have NEVER even looked at???? It is getting very dusty!

    Evening everyone.

Not much flying done just the dailies as Ive been quite busy. Been at my vol job today. Its the nearest hospital if there are any casualties re the manhunt so they are prepared. Staff from that area remaining at the hospital if they cant get home. Just had a man to measure for new living room window and he said I had to keep my doors locked. Will prob get back on track flying tomorrow. Going to have a sandwich and cuppa then catch up with the thread.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots, Lady L and Diva.
