Morning campers, tis I
Very apt smiley as I am that proud of my nails especially as I have a lovely pale pink polish on them and my DH says they look purty
Although got told off by the Dr therapist lady yesterday as I admitted to her the real reason I was growing them nice and long..oops!! Don't ask!! Ok who stole this
cos I sure as heck don't have any here at the moment.
I'm having a quick break from the ironing to nosey at the birds in the garden having their breakfast. Oooh two starling fledlings are having a right fight with each other..I think the one on the bird table thinks it isn't getting another feed anytime soon so is shovelling his food down rather quickly, another one popped upto share the table and promptly got battered..lol Aah Spike the blackbird is sitting on my bin looking at me, he keeps putting his head to one side and winking at me, it is so sweet.
Oooh ewwww just heard Sarah Kennedy say that Jeremy Kyle doesn't wear underpants, and hasn't for years..ewww I so didn't want to hear that this time in the morning..
Back to the birds..lol Mr and Mrs Dove have been and had their morning feed, although they did shoo another Dove off that tried to encroach on their territory. Mrs Thrush has been to sit on the fence - oooh what a magnificant specimen she made, her spots were glorious.
:) Asbo robin is currently bobbing about on the fence for some reason, oh I now see why Mrs robin is not far from him. Oh wait they have a baby with them, ok this could be interesting..:rotfl: Funnily enough all the other birds have disappeared now, Asbo robin is making his way to the mealworms on the bird feeder closely followed by a very small baby robin. Aww bless, he has brought his baby to see me :j
longtermlurker wrote: »Just had my mum on the phone. She has been going through my Grandmas stuff and found a book about old style cleaning. It's called The Easy Way and was published in 1916 so it belonged to my Great Grandma. She wanted to know if I would like it of course I did so I will be able to give you all helpful REALLY old style tips:rotfl:
OMG I am so jealous, I absolutely adore these type of books and unfortunately have no-one left to pass these on to me. I am quietly stalking my MIL everytime I see her for her cookery excercise book, but she won't let me have it..lol She doesn't have any cleaning books but she actually asked me how to clean using no chemicals, I can't believe I have converted her to Stardrops and white vinegar. She is amazed at the results.. Now she is on the hunt for Shiny Sink from Stardrops from the 99p shop as I couldn't stop raving about it. I've even got her using white vinegar instead of fabric conditioner. How strange it feels that I am giving her cleaning tips..lol
My assessment went really well yesterday although I did get another diagnosis ontop to my bipolar..ugh!! As if having bipolar, clinical depression and ME isn't enough I now have BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), although in some respect this isn't really that new to me as I had been showing signs of this for a while, especially as they tend to go hand in hand with Bipolar. Oh well more meds I imagine. Anyway the upshot of it is I am going to have therapy but this is a group therapy over 20 weeks, 2 hour sessions once a week. It sounds really good actually as you have a manual, notebook and you do physical activities like song, poetry, art etc.. And then alongside this I am going to be having one to one therapy once every three weeks. Then when the 20 weeks is over I go onto the follow up programme which is twice a month group therapy for a year.. I will be all therapied out at this rate.. But at least I am actually getting some help which is more than I have ever got before. So if I go off at tangents, when my therapy starts within the next couple of months, please ignore me..lol I promise not to disappear on you all when I am finding it too hard. DH isn't sure how to take it though, he didn't seem that interested when I told him although he did say that he would come along to the evening meet and greet for my "support team" when they had them. I have to ask my friend T whether she is happy to be my other person in my "support team". It's a shame I can't have all you flyladies as a support team but somehow I don't think you would all fit in the class..lol You know I am glad that "toxic" isn't around as it would have been really hard having her in my life as I would feel that I would have to ask her to be part of my support team, and to tell you the truth she would turn round and say that there wasn't anything wrong with me and I should get on with life etc...
Anyway back onto normal things. I am planning on making some Red Velvet Cupcakes today so have to nip out to Sainsbugs and get the red food colouring and a couple of other bits. Although plans might change as T wants me to go to her place today, I think she wants to grill me on my appt. I promise to stay away from all things to do with Yankee candles..lol I haven't told DH yet, I will probably sneak them in under the radar and pay the CC bill when it comes in, he doesn't even look at it now just passes it to me and says that he hopes it isn't too high..ooops so much for trying to bring it down to £500 from £1000..
LW hope you aren't suffering too much with your ulcers, they are horrible icky things.
Toots hugs honey, sending healing posi vibes to you.
LL massive hugs sweetie
Oooh Piggers I found this cute smily and thought of you
as this is what you are doing for squeak at the moment

morning all!
OH phoned last night - his dad's biopsy revealed lung cancer, sad, but I think we were expecting it.
They are not treating to cure it but he will have one course of palliative care radiotherapy - they are back to the hospital today.
Thanks for your kind words. Littlest, 16, struggling to cope - thank god the exams are over!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

BOO!!
Morning lovelies!
Haven't posted for aaaaaaaaaaages. I've been super busy then things turned manic lol teenies 18th was last week and seemed to take up all of last week what with planning, buying, doing etc etc I thought I'd save myself a packet and do my own balloon display so bought all the gear except HELIUM *rolls eyes* blew them up and they were just deaded dead things flopping around, much laughter ensued :rotfl::rotfl:the curling ribbons were nice tho.
House is being kept on top of kinda, think the heat's getting to me cos I'm more worn out after work then normal and cannot be bothered much, I designate the daily stuff mostly to teenie now he's finished College, may aswell earn his keep.
My raised bed is taking up a lot of time, well it's probs not in reality but it seems like it, maybe I'm just lazy, but got radishes, courgettes, carrots, spring onions, beetroot and spanish beet growing very nicely :T
List for today is:-
water veg
open curtains
make sarnies for 3 peeps
work 5 hrs
make beds
fold washing
sort tea
Hoovered yesterday and doesn't need doing till tomorrow, littleys room is a hovel so keep ignoring it, she's old enough now to do it herself AND keep it tidy, she'll learn eventually.
Aaaanyway, spent a lot of time on the Big Brother Forum, what biatches they all are........ luvving it!
Hugs all round, ciao for now dudettes :hello: xx
