I am not having a comfortable day.. I have feet trying to break my ribs again.. though I have got th e ball of wool I needed and a few bits for the children when they go back to school.. and Moomins shoes have been collected.. I even hung out the washing! That is quite possibly it for me for the day!

I am hoping the baby goes to sleep and I can get something done this afternoon...

DS2 is home today as it is induction day at his school so he has instructions to clear his pit.. I am NOT crawling about in their smelly room picking up their dirty stuff because they are too lazy to do it.. only problem is since they broke their bedroom door the smell of rancid socks is starting to filter down the landing!

they all have the front and middle rooms to clear later as well.. and one of them can vacuum.. and they can clean out the rabbits.. well the children have a list lol

    Morning flyfriends

I'm following my own list today as I have various bits and bobs to do. So far I have put the bedding , books, games, DVD's and other stuff in the van. It's supposed to rain a lot so I hope I've packed enough to keep everyone happy! I worked out last night that I have to log out on my computer before I can log in on DS1's lappy so I'll pop in if I get a chance.

My FiL got his scan yesterday and he needs more tests. His lungs are scared and it's unusual as it's only affecting 1 part of the lung. The doctor said that she has never seen this before so it's a wait and see.:(

    CY huge hugs honey x

Natty hugs honey you know you can PM me anytime.

Lady-L I was leaving this afternoon with BiL but decided just to all leave together when OH gets in from work at 5. I'll text you later, take it easy honey x

Just back from working away. I have no chance of catching up with the days I have missed so am going to concentrate on my own list this week. When I have decided what needs doing I will post it.

    Hi everyone

No time to read back very far - but it looks like FFP, Cyclingyorkie and Natty need some support this morning. Sorry to hear about your infection, too, Toots.

I went out in the gardening first thing, but have come in to get *warm and dry*.

I desperately want to get on with my own bedroom, and may not get another chance this week, so at the risk of offending Piggers (who for once hasn't done her 'mind-reading' job and anticipated exactly what I needed!) I'm going to follow my own list:

    Clean the Higgerty Main Bedroom:
    - Change bed
    - Tidy and put everything away; clear the floor; hang the clothes
    - Put washing on for o/night load
    - Hoover high beams, light, bedside lampshades, top of wardrobe
    - Hoover the curtains/curtain poles
    - Sticky mitt the surfaces incl side-tables, chest of drawers, table and chairs
    - Wipe the window sills
    - Windolene the windows, mirrors and glass top
    - Wipe sticky marks off doors, radiators, door-frames and light switches
    - Hoover the skirting boards and edges with nozzle
    - Hoover the floor
Hmm. Looks longer than a usual list! Maybe I should have waited a day or too after all...:o

Cup of coffee first, then on with it....

Morning all, have been lurking a lot and not doing much housework.
However we have 2 weeks before going on holiday and really need to get the house sorted before we go.
Just looked at todays tasks and have decided that childrens rooms and spare room are at the bottom of my priority list.
DS can clean his own room :) He`s been very busy working full time and doing a PT college course so that`s been at the bottom of his priorities.
Spare room has lots of clutter in it at present - including 2 bags for Salavation Army bin. Perhaps I will start with taking that.
    Have a good day everyone.
Edit - bag just arrived from BHF going to fill that instead. Will be collected on Friday.
