    And another resistance goes :rotfl:

Well, I have sorted (finally) three bags of my Dad's clothes that have been in the garage for the last 5 years :o I have a bag for the charity shop ready to be collected on Monday morning, and a bag for the tip, plus a few bits that I want to keep, that are in the washing machine right now.

Also took a boot load of general rubbish down to the tip and identified a whole lot more that I can take to the tip either tomorrow or in my week off after holiday, provided OH agrees as it is largely his rubbish.

There is still plenty more to be sorted through, but I feel I have made a good start - especially doing the clothes....I have been putting that one off for a very long time.

Also been doing some general tidying in the house too, so definitely feel as though I am getting there.

At least the clothes were in the garage and there were emotional reasons for hanging on a bit but I've just moved a tv out of my bedroom that has been sitting there since DS got a new one at Christmas:o:o... it was only going into a cupboard not even the tip but it's taken me this long to move it! there's no excuse really except that I'm single and it was sitting at the side of the bed I don't ever get in or out of:o:rotfl::rotfl:...

I said that 5 years ago, when we moved in here!

You know that time management thing where you mark a piece of paper everytime you move it without actioning it and after 3 marks you are supposed to bin it............................well I have moved the same load of junk (mostly computer stuff and video's belongign to his royal highness) around this house at least 8 times and today..........I moved it again!:mad:

However, I am now able to open spare room under-eve's cupboard without fear of my life and have created some space.

AND now since it's cocktail hour somewhere in the world...........I am having a little glass of dry white!

Just going to hoover DS's room, having cleared it, and then sit and watch a film in peace before the children and my student come home later this evening.....

Yes, I am starting to get things clear in my mind, and one of the things I DO know, is that I NEED to get clear of "stuff". Sooner, rather than later. And I have set myself a time limit of the end of the Summer hols to do it.

I have a feeling that I will be on first name terms with the guys at the local tip before the summer is out :o

    Wow, you ARE motivated!

I have (another) confession to make...

... I've spent all day eating cake. And I've just done some bank account checking...

... and when I get paid for a CD someone bought on Amazon the other day, I've decided I'm going to buy Shred

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I NEVER do exercise DVDs! But I do have to do something rather drastic, I'm not at all impressed with the amount of flabbiness that's going on here at the minute! :rotfl: And you're all just so darn persuasive, I can't resist... (but *only* when I've got the CD money - not before! This is MSE after all!) :rotfl:

(bet you're well wishing you bought a stock of Shred dvds to sell on Hypno!)

haha! Yes, I do wish I had had the foresight to stock up on Shred DVDs.....:o Ah well - I just hope that everyone who is buying them actually uses them, otherwise there will be a whole lot of amazon re-sale activity going on in a few weeks time!
