I am saving that tin for the "you know life can't get any worse when......." day and not a moment before :rotfl:

So, the weekend, and a busy one for me. This morning I have to do DS;s paper round as he is not here, then take student to her activity for the day, then straight out for a run. Then I need to carry on tidying the house top to bottom....first will be the lounge, dining room and conservatory, then upstairs, before I go and collect the student, and the children come home.

But first, coffee, scratching, and banking. Have a good weekend, whatever you are planning!

Morning Hypno...another busy weekend, is there ever a weekend off? I certainly feel at the moment that Ive had months of relentless things at weekends including work of course!
I think I might have to join you on this grocery challenge. When ex was out of work we only spent 20-30 per week and that has crept up to over £50....no idea how!

Right must go and prise B out of bed, have to be at my brothers for 9am to go bridesmaid dress shopping (on a busy saturday in bournemouth..at the start of the holidays on a sunny day, yes he is mad!)

Enjoy your run...will report back in later

Hmm, enjoy your shopping sally - as you say, perhaps not the best day!

So, papers all delivered - quite enjoyed the walk actually, so not bad there - plus I earned myself £2.50 into the bargain......never one to complain at money, however little it is!!

Packed lunch made for student and just enough time for a quick coffee before I deliver her to her coach for the day. And while I drink my coffee I will formulate my list for the day which may have a touch of the  about it!

So, that's an hour? 2 hours? of weight training on varying terrains, plus bending and stretching to letterboxes AND arm and shoulder exercises from compressing papers to get through small spaces...

You know, if I made a list, the enormity of it would make me go
and spend so much time planning how to tackle it that I wouldn't get anything done... so I'm better off having a few jobs in mind. Like washing up and breakfast.... luckily, I don't have to do one before I can start t'other:D

    :hello: Morning! (just )

Back yesterday, and caught up on the washing, thankfully - but oh my word, I'm going to have to sit with Z on the couch and watch all you shredders :D It will be fun :D:D

Norfolk was lovely - truly, if I ever find a way to make all of my income online, I'll be off up there, the combination of the amenities and the lifestyle and the open skies and the house prices .... wonderful :T:T:T

Hypno, I'm really glad you've got two weeks off - don't work too hard today!

    Hello Hypno + Hypnoettes

I usually lurk but you have drawn me out with all this shred talk... ;)

Okay, I am very tempted to buy the dvd, but...

I do boot camp sessions 3 x per week. This includes lunges with 10kg weights, full press ups (about 70-80 in total over each session), shoulder presses with 2x 9kg, squats with a 25kg weight, can do a few pull ups. We also use various weight kettlebells for deadlifts and swings. The sessions include cardio stuff as well and it is a full body workout. It's hard but I've been doing it for ages and I love it.

I'm thinking of getting shred as I would like to do some exercise on the days I'm not at boot camp. I can't really afford to buy weights to use at home and running bores me although I do it now and again. Do you think I'll get enough out of shred compared with what I'm already doing or should I go for something else? The 20 minute aspect of it also appeals to me as I've not got that much time on my hands.

    thanks

PS - congrats on the weight loss and size 10 jeans x

    Hi Pania

No, it's just a guy with his own business locally, does boot camps and personal training. I would imagine it's quite similar to those british military ones though.
