    Morning all

P will hunt your diary out.

Can I be in for the store cupboard challenge as well as my freezers and cupboards are pretty full as well and they could do with defrosting as well.So £10 per week for fresh bits then.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning! Storecupboard challenge ... I've been working really hard on getting less and less in my storecupboards, but simply because of the move - the *stuff* thats been in there is ridiculous. Even now, there's some creamed coconut, one third used, but with an expiry date of June 2009 - anybody know if that will be okay to use?

P - are you buying for you and your man? What kind of level of fresh food are you thinking of? Maybe this is where I've been going wrong recently, I've been focussing too much on getting the cupboard stocks down - a little more fresh food might be in order....

Karma, not sure about the coconut cream - though for most things I follow Terry Wogan and ignore expiry dates.

yay! loads of people onboard with the store cupboard challenge!! we should make some good money if we are shopping savvy!

Taxi, thanks hon, I lurk on yours constantly. only just started to post again on other peoples diaries. but am very up to date with current affairs!! :)

Karma, Just me!!! level of fresh food, hmmm well I am trying to loose weight so am trying to work my lunch and some of my dinners around fresh produce such as rocket, tomatoes and i love my fresh strawberries and greek yogurt for breakfast. canned veg is a complete no go for me although i have no issue with frozen peas carrots, cabbage etc so my tenner will prob be made up of some salad, mushrooms, fresh pepper, wraps for lunch, new potatoes and mozarella or something like that.

Sounds lovely, Pania - and you're absolutely right. I'm *so* looking forward to the new house, accessible garden means I can plant lettuce and pea shoots and whatnot to help those healthy salads along.
