Oh god, that is not worth it. As for the boxes, there are loads of videos that he taped as a student. Probably some momentos, but my DH is a sensitive soul.
My Mum once bought him a hoody for Christmas as his had seen better (student) days. He was very grateful, but told me afterwards that he didn't want to wear it all the time, as he "felt sorry" for his other ones - Bless!
So, as much as I love that side of him it's also :wall:
:rotfl: Bless him, but even I have learnt to objectify clothing now...although my Shaun the Sheep backpack is a proper sheep, OK! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

Having spent 25 years with a hoarder I really do sympathise!
I would go for the skip option myself and worry about the consequences in due courseSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno its all your fault so hope you don't mind me hyjacking your thread for a second! I worked really hard and managed to run the 3 mile sports relief mile .... couch to 5 k my saviour, went from not being able to run a mile to doing the whole thing! Yippee. Just after i sprained my ankle so was out of action and any desire started to disappear. Any how all of you on this thread have inspired me and I got out there again tonight, softly softly. However god gave me fantastic breasts and I usually wear 2 sports bras to hold em down (I'm not complaining about my boobs love em!) " bra's and a top makes me really quite warm ..... anyone got a good sports bra recommendation for larger boobs? Thanks0

Well done for getting back out there Waterwatcher!! Take it easy and you will soon be looking forward to your next race :T
As for your *ahem* problem, sadly that is something I know nothing about, having been less blessed in that department. I am sure that someone will have an answer for you though. I can only think of "shock absorber" bras but having never bought one or needed one, I am not much use!

Then I very quickly put them into bags, did them up and got rid of them before I could change my mind!My tuppence worth (not asked for, admittedly, but I'd hate to disappoint
): get rid of them as soon as you are out of them...
Just got back from the tip - which we now are told is politically correct to call a recycling centre - lol - decluttered some garden waste, a defunt computer screen, lots and lots and lots of cardboard and...
A HUGE BOX OF CLOTHS!!!! The Mayor's Charity is now in receipt of several pairs of women's jeans, four pairs of shoes & many smart men's trousers OH will never fit into again! - Decided that he had to face reality too as both 32" and 34" waists are a distant memory - lol
Must admit one pair of the too big jeans is still in the cupboard for a comforting touch of emotional dysfunction! - but they are really lovely & were on a major sale when purchased - lol
Methinks another cloths declutter will be in the works come autumn...waterwatcher wrote: »anyone got a good sports bra recommendation for larger boobs? Thanks
You have my sypathies waterwatcher - it's the worst thing about high impact sports! - Try Triumph or Pure Lime - Pure Lime has a compression bra that really helps - no bounce at all - a bit warm but a tissue or two tucked in the middle will help with the moisture! - Try an online shop called lessbounce.com for really good prices!

Evening all
Very impressed with all the decluttering and exercise going on here!
I'm meant to be working... but just popped in briefly, and thought I'd answer waterwatcher, suffering from a similar, er, not quite problem, shall we say 'issue'??
I've actually got an Enell

They do all kinds of fab colours! Mine is (was!) white - but then I threw it in the wash with a yellow towel so now it's gold and I feel like Wonderwoman every time I run :rotfl:
I couldn't say it's perfect, and I feel a right twit if Mr Daffs catches me in the act of trying to do it up :rotfl: But it's the best one I've had :j Bit expensive, but worth it to keep them in the right place :j (and I'm around a 32F - haven't been measured for yonks!)

I've just the "ruthless and realistic" conversation with DH. He's not so attached to clothes, just "stuff".
We are moving in 6 weeks and he has boxes of stuff that he hasn't opened in 15 years - but still "needs". He said 'if it's easier for me to take it to the new house and dump it in the cellar, then that's what I'll do - What do I do with that???!!!
Pickle don't fear the Shred - embrace it, it's great! :j
My OH is exactly the same. We have three bedrooms, (I moved into his house) two are unusable because he has "stuff" he might need  I am less emotional. I have a philosophy, if you can close your eyes and remember a moment, then why do you need stuff to support that moment. Nobody can take your memories away, but stuff just gets in the way. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Well done RT on the decluttering!! Def consider another cull in the AutumnSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi waterwatcher, congrats on the race :T Keep it up
I am a 34F (yep, check me out ladies:D) and have this EXTREME CONTROL SPORTS BRA. I run quite a bit and there is NO bounce with this baby!
I always read the reviews on there and find the service very good. Plus there is 2% cashback from Quidco :money: Good luck with it!0
