Hi waterwatcher and the hypnogang,
bit of a lurker here but I thought I'd unlurk and recommend getting fitted at a bravissimo shop if you take a larger bra size. They're fab and offer great service. I went from a 40dd to a 36ff after being properly fitted and it made such a difference! Now don't have to worry about getting tops to cover my boobs as have properly fitting bras. Also have a sports bra I can do star jumps in without pain!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
I've just the "ruthless and realistic" conversation with DH. He's not so attached to clothes, just "stuff".
We are moving in 6 weeks and he has boxes of stuff that he hasn't opened in 15 years - but still "needs". He said 'if it's easier for me to take it to the new house and dump it in the cellar, then that's what I'll do - What do I do with that???!!!
Pickle don't fear the Shred - embrace it, it's great! :j
Tell him that anything you find in the cellar at the new house will be going to the charity shop because that is where you will be storing charity shop/ebay items. so he had better get off his lazy butt and sort it now...I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Morning (or should that be middle of the night) all.......no rest for the wicked in this house, as DS is off for a ski race - thankfully have arranged a lift for him, then DD and I will do paper rounds, student one wants to be on a bus at 8.50 and student two wants to visit the family she stayed with last year at midday.
I need to get to Tesco for more packed lunch stuff, plus bread and milk, and I intended going for a long run.
However, I am very tired, and really don't fancy fitting in the run right now, so may give it a rest for today. We shall see. I did run yesterday so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I just did shred today instead.
Hope you all have a good day, whatever you may do!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I've actually got an Enell
I couldn't say it's perfect, and I feel a right twit if Mr Daffs catches me in the act of trying to do it up :rotfl: But it's the best one I've had :j Bit expensive, but worth it to keep them in the right place :j (and I'm around a 32F - haven't been measured for yonks!)
<scurries off back to work>
Hi All,
Another vote for the Enell - I got one a few years ago and it was great (but doing it up is definitely not a spectator sport :rotfl:). I'm toying with the couch-2-5k thing so will dig it out and see if it fits... The walking has gone really well and I feel ready to increase the intensity but not decided how - more hills? hill then couch - 2- 5k on the flat? the dreaded shred?
Don't want to do too much too soon but would really love to get rid of the excess beef before my birthday in december. I've lost almost a stone in 6/7 weeks loosely following rosemary conley and walking most days so I've got a start. Ideally I'd like to lose another 3 stone (but would settle for 2). Anyway, off for an early walk - woke up (again:cool:) at 5am for no good reason - something else that needs to be sorted out...
Another busy day in hypnoworld then - good luck to DS - and maybe a day off from running would help - you're still doing the paper round!
Anyway, hope everyone has a good day xLose The Beef Challenge- start 17.01.11 3.5lbs/60lbs

Lenza, well done on losing that weight and getting some exercise in - my tip would be to do whatever you enjoy.....that is the difference for me this time round, ie I am quite enjoying what I am doing rather than just feeling as though I *should* do it. So, if you are happy walking, then carry on walking, just go further/faster/hillier.....or if you fancy upping it to a jog, then try it and see how you feel.
As for the Shred -well, of course everyone enjoys doing that, so it is a foregone conclusion :rotfl:
Scratches done - a lovely £5 on one which is a very welcome start to the day. 10ps on the others.
As I was getting dressed I started thinking of all the things I still have to do before going on holiday - mainly smallish things like arranging for someone to feed the cat, but still things that I really ought to do today. When I get back from the paper rounds I will make a list.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Well, I have to tell you Chev, that laziness is certainly not his problem and I would never dream of talking to him like that!
He has his own business and truly is a grafter, he is just not good at throwing things away and doesn't mind clutter. We will get it resolved though - one way or another
Morning Hypno, no run for me this morning. I was up at 6am too, painting etc. Hope you manage to get out. Have a good day all x0 -
I can't seem me getting out for a run, mac, my to do list is getting longer by the minute.
Eg, DS's school trousers are ruined beyond repair - both pairs.....courtesy of some rather vigorous football at lunchtimes! So, as the second pair were beyond hope on Wednesday, I allowed him to wear his only black pair of trackies to school and sent him with a note saying that as there are only a few days left of term I was sure they would allow him to wear non-regulation trousers.
No problem. Phew.
So, today, as DS gets them out of the drier, he catches said trackies on the door handle of the kitchen and rips them. Totally ruined. Totally unrepairable!
So, short of sending him in some of his ski-trackies which really are not suitable to be seen in reasonable non-skiing company, or his jeans, which I don't feel are as acceptable as plain black trackies, I now need to buy him something to wear for school this week.

Morning all. Thanks for all the advice for sports bra's. After all that activity I fell asleep very early last night! I will look into them all today and might invest on pay day. For now I will have to settle for 2 and being toasty warm. Thanks again everyone! xx0

You see, to me it WOULD be the end of the world if I did shred. I saw DD's friend's brother last night who is a personal trainer. Did entertain a few thoughts of asking how much he charges but managed to talk myself out of it
. He says he doesn't do scary Jillian if people say they can't carry on, just shrugs and says 'ok, if you want to stay fat.........' - which is probably even more effective .
Happy list making & ticking off HypnoA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

You are doing very well at resisting, gallygirl......I am suitably impressed
I've made my list and have started doing bits and pieces off it - have done the dishwasher and a load of washing which I will hang out in a mo.....one student is where she wants to be, and I have sorted out a big box of DD's old books and made it into a smaller, more stackable/storable box. I am reluctant to get rid of the classic books eg Beatrix Potter boxed set etc, but they do need to be stored somewhere, so it is a case of streamlining and getting rid of those that aren't really the "classics" or real favorites. Some are rather dog eared so not even fit for charity shops, others are just lovely books that will want to make an appearance in due course when my children have children of their own (many many years from now, I hope!).
Right - off to hang out that washing, get another load in, and do at least half an hour's ironing.....oh the joys!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
