Right - off to hang out that washing, get another load in, and do at least half an hour's ironing.....oh the joys!

    Good Morning!

Have joined you in the washing and ironing. One load in - one on the line - ironing pile has migrated from airing cupboard to pile on chair & ironing board is out and iron dusted off and plugged in - now if only I could remember what to to with it!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well I'm at the opposite end of that particular cycle as finished my ironing pile over 3 days last week and am now very reluctant to create a new one so am avoiding doing any more washing!

he is just not good at throwing things away and doesn't mind clutter. We will get it resolved though - one way or another :)

Today's decluttering thought: honouring your stuff.

If, in your case, the stuff is in the cellar on video tapes, is that the best place for it to keep the tapes viable for when you want to watch them? Does your video still work?!:D

Would part of the moving involve reboxing so delicate stuff is appropriately stored or transferred to something they can be played on?

Probably not the best of ideas when you're moving but hey.... I thought it had to be mentioned!

Lenza, well done on losing that weight and getting some exercise in - my tip would be to do whatever you enjoy.....that is the difference for me this time round, ie I am quite enjoying what I am doing rather than just feeling as though I *should* do it.

Thanks hypno - you're right about needing to enjoy it - I actually feel 'wrong' if I don't get out every day now which is a huge breakthrough for me :j.

hope you're list isn't tooo long. I've got to sort my 'kids' books out too. They take up a wall whilst guitars and most clothes live on the floor

Well I have been tackling the sock pile - one batch already in the bin, and the next just about to go - I have paired up so many socks that no one is going to have to go barefoot for a while, so that will do nicely. If anyone DARES to say that they have no socks to wear, they will be shot.

Also got another load in the machine, and the ironing pile is slowly reducing.

Now off to the city to take student two to her activity, and then after a quick bit of window shopping in the John Lewis sale, I am off for a ski  First time since my accident in March, so hopefully a confidence booster........we shall see.......

    Yup, March......time flies!

Have had a lovely afternoon......mooched around the shops for a couple of hours and had a coffee with DD, then went for a brief ski - was v.hot, but did enough to get my confidence back a bit. Had a few laughs in the process which are always welcome.

Students are still out - one will be home any time now, the other needs picking up at 9.30 so that is my evening sorted.....

Hope you have all had a good day x
