That's how I felt buffy! I am amazed I got any sleep but I guess I was so exhausted with the ups and downs of this last few days that I slept really well, (thankfully).

So, what next? Well, I have done what I can so far, applied for the mortgage, paid the valuation fee, instructed the solicitor - I just need to start waiting for paperwork to arrive, and to try and push it through as quickly as possible to allow time for queries or problems.

And I need to really give serious thought about what "stuff" I take with me. Yes, Z, XOH will be taking some of it - he certainly has first refusal over it, but he is only renting a small flat himself, so isn't over run with surplus space himself. It will be interesting!! But as I have found so far, the decluttering has been quite liberating on its own, so hopefully when I move into the new place, with less crap surrounding me, it will feel amazing!

    exciting times :j:j:j

Just one thought on the move, garden plants are expensive plus most people have favourites, so are there any that need potting up to take with you for the new place. It's just with winter nearly here, it's probably the last few chances of the weather being reasonable for doing anything like that.

Are we going to get a Hypno house move diary next? Especially with the house move it won't be long before this one surges through the 5k post limit :)

se....my new garden is so low maintenance that it doesn't have a garden......:D Just a lovely big patio (south facing of course), and a balcony, so will be having a couple of pots but nothing more.

I was going to do a "life begins" diary in a couple of weeks, anyway, Se....so will prob start it at the weekend to incorporate the peaks and troughs of housemoving too!

The decisions you'll have to make, will it be wine or G&T on the balcony or the patio, the move is sounding better all the time :D

I know - great isn't it!!! The new house is so *not* what I was looking for - but in fact it is the only house I have been to view, and it just felt so right from the word "go". I was slightly surprised by myself, but I just love it so much, and can't wait to move in :D It has a communal garden, that is kept lovely, so apart from watering the pots and brushing down the patio furniture, my job is done!
