Hi, I know exactly what you mean about getting something that is so not what you were looking for but feeling so right.
I did the same when moving I left a 1930 semi with 2 gardens and bought a brand new one bed flat with balcony. Loved it as soon as I stepped into the door. It just felt right. Whilst I am not living in it now (with OH) I still love to go and just sit there. I keep putting off renting it out but I am now considering selling it next year. Only because I have other life plans but I do love it. I am sure that you will be so happy where you are going to. I feel the sunshine radiating from every post over the last 24 hours.

Wow, what a great couple of days, congratulations, can't believe how quickly it's fallen into place! The renting/porting mortgage/no chain is ruddy marvellous. What worked for me (admittedly last century!) was buyers and sellers talking to each other and applying boots to solicitor backsides.

Don't forget you need to give your fridge and freezer 24 hours to settle before switching them on again!
