Monday morning - the start of another week. Happy half term to those to whom it applies!
Well, I slept like a log last night, so a few more of those will do me nicely. I still ache all over and feel very very tired, but not as badly as I did yesterday.....I just hope work is not too stressful today, as I really don't need that level of *stuff* that this place has the potential to produce!!
I hope everyone else who hasn't been feeling too great is making a good recovery. Have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
You too, Hypno - hope it all goes smoothly today. And remember to drink!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

well i feel ok, and did a load of housework today, so I feel like i have achieved something today, even with the kids here, so it is looking tidy if not cluttered though oopsI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Pleased to hear you slept well Hypno. It was quieter last night, but think the noisy neighbours are still here, they just seem not to know how to close a cupboard, drawer or door without slamming it!!!
Anyway had a lie in this morning, and a lazy start. But decided it was time for a pamper, so a nice soak in the bath with the hotel freebie bath fizzy bath salts, then slow and careful facial and makeup. Then put together a new outfit from the capsule
A blue/black French Connection long sleeved dress/tunic (less than half price from TKMaxx), black leggings bought to match it (from Miss Etam whilst in Holland, cheap & cheerful consumable element of the capsule approx £10), black Clarks shoes with kitten heels ( reduced from £45 to £19 at a Clarks factory shop).
Result was I looked really skinny (the exercise is working), and the outfit looked stylish & expensive. I felt really good, and the capsule is working

I have drunk plenty of water today (getting rather fed up of it) and as the day has progressed, I, have felt better, so that is good.
DD has done my housework for me, ready for house viewers, so that has saved me a big job. It also means it was nice to walk into when I got home from work.
I hope you have all had a good day, and that a restful evening awaits you xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
