Will it harm to have a coffee? Surely all that water will suffice? A little bit of what you fancy and all that.....

I did have some coffee this morning, first thing....and have been drinking water since. While I still have pain in my kidneys, though I need to keep flushing them through rather than throwing more toxins at them, I guess.....so water today, and then coffee again in the morning before more water.

I am not very good at the "drink 8 glasses of water a day" thing - never have been, I just find it so boring - but needs must and for a couple of days to get myself back into a healthy balance I will just have to get on and do it!

Ambles out of lurkedom to say.....

I spoke to a Dr about the 8 glasses of water a day thing as I have had recurring waterworks issues over the years and am not good at cold drinks (the odd G&T or glass of wine aside ;)). I was told that as long as you drink sufficient liquid it is fine. But I am a decaff Tea girl so I don't know if that makes a difference.....

Sneaks back off muttering this is probably of no use to anyone......

She did a fantastic job, and as my cleaner doesn't come in the school holidays, it was only using the money I would have paid later in the week on a normal week, so all good.

DD really really wants to move - she was babysitting at the "new" house again on Friday, so she was happy to clean today on the basis that it helps in the grand moving house plan!

It's super having so much info about the new house, especially with babysitting, she'll know about noisy neighbours etc. to some extent.
  • Ooh I'm so naughty I'd be babysitting 'with' DD so that I could have the look of all looks ;-)
