have a good day everyone. I read here often and post occasionally - hit the wrong thread re MG's 50 day challenge but I know some of you from there - will re-post over there!
GQ xoxIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

gill - by the time you posted, I was waiting at the bus stop - my light stays on for some time after I have left.......but in any event, I no longer spend nearly as much time on there as I did before, and it is freeing up some time so that I am not rushing, so I am happy enough with that

Bloomin bus broke down on the way to my stop, so an extra 20 mins standing in the cold......brrrr.
mac, yes, if we are going by feelings in waters, then I definitely reckon I'm on to something there!
Sally - I put my house on the market in the summer - I've found a new, smaller, easier, cheaper house which would be an ideal fresh start for me.....All I have to do now is actually sell this one! Easier said than done in the current climate, but I'm not being forced to sell, so there really is no pressure (other than from myself of course!).Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. hi p - if you mean where am I now, I am number 2.
If where I *will* be by christmas (!) it is number 21.
Almost right, on both counts.
If you are talking about something else. I am looking for Martin's confused smiley right now.

I signed up for internet banking at 16. I quickly realised when I left home that it was a great way to check how much of the overdraft was left so I could keep spending it...!
But I'm sure your daughter is very different Hypno. I was brought up in a 'buy now, pay later' kind of household, and slowly realised that wasn't the way to do things. Having had such a good example (and a hard lesson in budgetting) from you I'm sure DD will manage her money very well.
Hope you're feeling much better Hypno! So hard to get going on these dark cold mornings.Debt at highest Nov '06 £17,822.98
