A day of rest and plenty to drink will do me the world of good. I went all yesterday without having anything to drink, despite continually telling my students to take on water.....
Also didn't have anything to eat from 8am until 8pm.....and then gave myself a busy day on top of it all. And of course, when I did eat, it was a chinese takeaway, so not exactly the best thing to dump onto an empty stomach.
So it really is just my body saying "you're not doing yourself any favours".
But boy does it hurt - I ache everywhere! DS is having a bath, and provided he leaves me enough hot water, that will be my next destination too.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I do wonder if it's partly winter drawing in, someone on MG's thread mentioned these, and I'm seriously considering getting one:

Don't know how much they cost yet though.0 -

Wow hypno what a day. Well done on the education going really well. Just a pity today is not so good. I hear you about the aches. I just seem to have something wrong all the time with me at the moment. I have given up on resting my shoulder. Doesn't seem to make any difference one way or the other... So will just get on with things. I can really see you being in a new house by christmas. when you talk about it, it just feels right.....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hypno, another one who takes more care of others than of herself, a bit of "Do as I say not as I do". So, just for today at least, please take care of yourself.
Hugs to everyone not feeling on top form today.0 -
You look after yourself! And if your kidneys still feel rotten tomorrow, get ye to the docs - kidney infections aren't very nice at all... xx0

Well in the lift coming back from breakfast there was a very posh elderly couple, and I thought they couldn't be the noisy neighbours, could they? They were!!! Admittedly they had sort of barged in a bit antisocially when they got into the lift too.
It did make us smile a bit, admittedly they're back in their room banging about again now, hope they're not staying long!
Going out to blow the cobwebs away, as there are some bits of blue sky, but looking like it's not for long.0 -
I like that

I like where I am too - the sky is cloudless blue, I'm sitting by the window and I can see out to rolling hills in the countryside
Sounds lovely, KC - the sun has come through here now...for a while at least!Cheery_Daff wrote: »You look after yourself! And if your kidneys still feel rotten tomorrow, get ye to the docs - kidney infections aren't very nice at all... xx
Oh I know - I have been prone to them on and off for most of my life, as has, sadly, DD who has been very ill in the past. I am therefore cross with myself a bit for not being sensible yesterday and having something to drink
