Try a half teaspoon of bicarb dissolved in a glass of water to help with the kidney pain.......It helps to redress the PH of your waters.

Thanks for asking Hypno - He's gradually getting there. He's able to work part time from the hotel now, but the hospital say he's to go back immediately if temperature rises again or other complications flare up again. Got the nurse phoning to check on him again tomorrow. They do seem really efficient here, so in a way lucky that it happened here.0

Glad that he is on the mend, but it sounds like he has some way to go yet. As you say, it is good that it happened where it did.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Sorry to hear so many of you are feeling poorly or did not sleep well (or both). Hypno, soda bicarb certainly help - to make it more palatable you could put a bit of lemon in it (or vinegar if you likeit).
I slept like a log (in our bedroom) and am getting ready to go for a runnett (since I can't run the marathon and am worried of the pain it will be only about an hour run) with a friend who is one of the three non-virtual members of my dream team. After that will be working again....but feeling excited about it.
Hope things improve with all of you - will check later.

Morning All,
All of you unwell MSEers - look after yourselves.
Went to a family party last night and will go and see my Dad later on today. Am going to try and make one of my favourite dishes that my my mum made most Sundays. It's
my gran's recipie. Also need to get the budget sorted for next month. I need to get back on track as I have been a bit wayward!
Hope Sunday brings you rest and recovery.

Another unwell one checking in .... just tired and a bit listless (and my symptoms suddenly intensify whenever I have to talk to my mum
) but working on getting better - manuka honey, vitamins and multiminerals, no more *complete* garbage in the diet.
Have a nice pottery day Hypno.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
