well, LW paid out for me this morning, and my last withdrawal from V was fine too. Some people have had emails saying they are abusing the system, but I just play the occasional game for real money and it seems to keep them happy.

One day, though, the free money will stop, so always see any withdrawal as a lovely bonus!

Thanks hypno, just didn't want to continue it for no return if we knew they weren't paying out anymore as it's not really my favourite thing. I haven't had any emails from them. I guess I'll pay couple of games with them now and again but I need to get back into habit of doing them everyday. Maybe time enough to get to a payout level before Xmas as I already have some in there.

LW just paid out but V said we had to deposit and play £5 per month which defeats the object of the free money - do not not listen to us ;)

  • re the scratchies, I find that playing a couple of games once a month or so keeps everyone happy.

If you ever have insomnia, play between 3-4 am ish... I seem to win every time

Evening all - hope you have all had a good day.

I was reading Mr Big's latest challenge on her blog last night - basically he is asking us to think not about what we will do, but the one thing we will STOP.

So, my first thought was that I will stop procrastinating, as I need to get on with more stuff. But I need something more tangible than that, something I can measure easily against to make sure that I am doing it.

So, after much thought, I have decided to STOP opening my laptop and going on the internet before work. I get up just before 6am, and leave the house at 7am, so only have an hour, but by the time I have checked emails, done banking, scratched, posted on MSE, read a couple of diaries, checked facebook......you get the picture - I end up dashing into the shower, moaning that the dishwasher hasn't been emptied, and rushing for the bus. And on the days when I do shred, my time is even more hurried.

I reckon that if I don't open the laptop, I will gain at least half my time before work, which means I will not only have a less stressful shower/hairdrying blast/slap of makeup but will be able to potter - empty the dishwasher, get another load of laundry in the wash, etc, and as well, I will have time to eat breakfast, and make my packed lunch, so will be healthier, and will be saving money into the deal.

I get to work just before 8, so will log into MSE then, and do my banking - emails, facebook and scratches will just have to wait until I get home in the evening. I will survive.

So, from tomorrow, I won't be doing my early morning post. But I will be getting a huge amount done, will be healthier, better off, fitter etc etc etc, so it is a very positive thing.

    :D

At lunchtime, I managed to write 3 sides of A4 paper on what I would gain from giving up the lappy before work! I can't see how it won't make a difference, and I am not exactly going to be going cold turkey or anything, so shouldn't find it too painful :rotfl:
