Morning, lots of coughs and colds here - again .

Got a payout the other day too! And about a week away on the other one - thank you for pointing me in the right direction all that time ago :T

Laptop died again and am going against HP for Sale of Goods Act, but while trying to rescue the most important info from it we needed to head out - didn't dare turn it off so left it stood on its side trying to forward some emails - DS asked what happens if it burns the house down - my reply, we arent there, the dogs are with us, the rest is insured and its just stuff. DH said what about my car - his pride and joy - my reply - you buy another same model and then I can rebuild it to the same spec, same body kit, sound system, paint as a replacement demo car - its not irreplaceable. Made us all realise how much carp is in the house that just doesnt matter as long as we and the dogs are safe - a real LBM!

    x

PS - As this dary gets so many readers I'll post a little tip on here if you don't mind - for anyone that has a Samsung LCD TV or knows someone with one - if the stop turning on, its a known fault with no recall, but call Samsung and they will repair for free as they fitted cheap parts to reduce costs. Mine has gone, a friends has gone, I'm waiting for FIL's as I'll have to deal with it. There was nothing on MSE when I searched but its all over Google :money:

Good morning and well done on the home WI Hypno, and on keeping the weight stable.

Are you still shredding, or is the running taking over? Just wondered.

Wednesday today, so it's gym/treadmill running this morning - and free museum day this afternoon, so a long walk there and back (burns more calories and doesn't cost anything :) ).

Hope everyone has a good day despite the coughs & colds.

Anywhere from about 14 months onwards you will go to turn it on and it will just keep clicking at you. Or the screen may fade, or it may just refuse to even click. Mines just over 2 years old. I was amazed when I read about a guy who bought one, his friend bought one a week later and they broke a week apart!

I expected to have to argue with the helpline but they just put the repair straight through!

Luckily we still have the really old TV that takes up most of the room so the boys aren't climbing the walls, just commenting on needing binoculars :rotfl:.

Sorry for hijack but anything to help other MSErs!

se, running has taken over, but the marathon plan is to run 3 or 4 days a week and do shred on 2 other days with one completely rest day.

I do quite enjoy shred :o

Well it looks like next week I'll be in a hotel with no fitness room, and not really anywhere good for the first outside runs either. So will probably have to have a go at Shredding instead, and not worry about what people in other rooms think is happening!!! I've got a yoga book in the car too, so will try to do some more stretching and suppleness stuff too, as well as some 10 minute solution DVD's so no real excuse for slacking.

Currently I'm doing the beginners running mon/wed/fri plus some rowing and abs and general stuff. On Tues/Thurs it's the cycling machines plus the gym bits again, so lower impact.

Hope I'm back in a hotel with a fitness room the week after, as don't want to miss my 5k by Christmas target.

Hypno, which scrathchies do you do nowadays? Will l1ttlewoods and v1rgin still pay out, those are the two I'm on but haven't kept up to date for ages with? Thanks.

I think Shred is god too and trying to do it couple of times a week, but other activities sometimes take over. 2 runs, one shred, ivb training, ivb match and mountain biking last week.
