It is great news, but I have a dilemma because I have committed to run the Edinburgh marathon 5 weeks later. 2 marathons just 5 weeks apart may be a challenge or it may be stupidity, and I have the option to defer London until 2012.

Part of me wants to say what the heck, and do both, but that is an awful lot of miles to do.....will give it some thought over the next few days!

And as for :money:mentioning my ironing, well, I am flabberghasted :rotfl:

Well done on the marathon! I love uber competitiveness in areas where it doesn't matter, like board games for me, rather than go karting. But go karting sounds wonderful!

Fortunately, nothing that I write will ever end up in a book.

Well, not unless it comes with a brown paper cover...

You never know - Martin is after stories for a DFW book- optional version to include quotes by Z, with brown cover:D Best seller i think:p:rotfl::rotfl:

It could work out very well if you defer to 2012, loads of peeps will want to do that one.

    Very well done though:D:T

Christmas.....hmm.....I have no idea what is happening this year - need to give it some thought, as no ski hol was ever booked.

Happy October - another new month, another step closer to debt freedom for all.

Re the marathon - I am thinking that I will give it a go. Dad and I always said "next year" and for him, next year never came, so I have the chance to run it this time round, and that is what I should do! If I get closer to the time, and don't feel I can do it, then I can defer, or I can pull out of Edinburgh at the last minute if it is all too much, but I can't imagine watching London on the TV and sitting there thinking "I should be there!"......:o

Right, banking and scratching await - hopefully my mortgage payment is out so I can amend the big figure in my sig :D
