Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Morning all - I had a nightnurse induced sleep, but now have a nightnurse induced "hangover"!!
Tonight we are going go-karting with the guys from work, so that will be fun. I think it is the first time my children have done anything like this so they are very much looking forward to it.
But first....coffee, scratches and banking await. Have a good one xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Is that better or worse than a Nytol hangover, or a 'did I actually sleep at all last night' hangover? Or indeed a hangover hangover?
I'm suffering from a 'wow I actually slept last night why do I still feel hungover' type hangover. Basically, we're stuffed either way unless we are allowed to go somewhere warm and relaxing, go to bed in our own time and get up in our own time. Any takers?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Felt worse than a nytol hangover, but I was very grateful for the fact that I slept, solidly, from about 9pm.....so the hangover feeling must be worth it, surely :cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hope the hangover wears off soon Hypno and that everyone enjoys the gokarting. Is the cold improving?
Already done a couple of hours on google maps directions and rightmove planning 2 days of househunting next week. Hope we get a better hit rate with getting viewings this time
Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well either gallygirl.0 -
I think my cold is at its peak - the cough started overnight - so am hoping that it will start to get better from here. I am feeling not too bad in myself, remaining positive, which helps but I am a bit fed up of blowing my nose and breathing like a hippo.
(not that I know how a hippo breathes, really, but it sort of sums up how I feel lol)
Good luck with the continued househunting - I've had no news from either couple who looked at mine this week. But it will happen!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Gokarting sounds great, Hypno, and so does a long sleep, tho I distinctly don't like the sound of a hangover of any description, yuck.
Interesting about LinkedIn - I joined, because I wanted to check what my brother in law's page had (answer = not much) but I haven't done anything at all with it. I'm not even sure what network to belong to! That will be one thing I'll have to have a serious think about in the next month or so - do I want to connect up with traders, therapists, coaches, who?
