  • On the oven front- mine is supposedly self cleaning! Never quite worked out why it doesn't do that though :) There is always the *Icky* bit at the bottom, which i tend to cover with tin foil. I am thinking of investing in one of the Lakeland oven liners, so once i get the residual burned on stuff off- then i will do so. It will save me a lot of work.

Double check your oven info, some with elements on the floor of the oven don't like trays/liners over them, it damages the floor of the oven - guess how I found out when trying to keep a new oven nice longer :o

Well mine, is quite a few years old now,but is a brilliant oven:D I have never managed to get it to sort out the self cleaning bit *insert the shruggy smiley* it sorts out for top of oven, but not the base of it. Go figure huh? I have always kept on top of things 'cleaning wise' I tend to wipe over with a moist cloth after cooking etc. Saves a lot of hassle. I will be buying one of the liners though :)

I read this and went straight to Lakeland to look for it. I could do myself serious financial damage in there BoB!
