  • Fab Post Hypno,

I keep thinking about the lessons we have to learn and how great it is when we learn them. Change can be so hard but its an amazing feeling as you/we figure stuff out.

For everything there is a season

My marriage ended badly but I don't regret it -just regret it wasn't to be and ended badly....even though I was the one who chose to end it ultimately. My ex did things that left me no longer respecting him as a person-and without liking and respect.....there's no foundation to a marriage.

Morning all.Trying to be positive about life when the alarm goes off at 5.50am is not so easy......I will have to work on that one over the coming weeks!

10p and 25p on scratches.....and banking still to be done but no change expected there for the next few days (payday next Thursday).

This evening is some sort of parents evening at DDs new school, so I will head there this evening, and as it is one of those times that means I don't have enough time to get home in between, but there is too much time just to hang about, I think that I will meet the children for an early dinner out using clubcard vouchers. Will be a nice treat, as well as practical.

I also need to work on my "must have", "can live without" list for MGs challenge. I've done the basic jottings but do need to make it into a readable list, as presumably we will need to be working from it over the next few weeks.

I hope you all have a good day x

Looking at proper running shoes....seem to be a few sales on but I don't have a clue what to buy or even if I should be looking at Neutral or more supportive shoes ??????

My advice would be go to a running shop as FW said. The main reason is that you will probably end up buying shoes a size or half a size bigger - thus avoiding black toenails :D I'm doing the GNR on Sunday and a French lady I know is doing it too.
She's a very established runner and I joked about her sprinting round the next day and me hobbling about with black toenails! She tut-tutted me and said if that happens your trainers are too small.

    So there you go :)

Morning Hypno, these early days certainly get harder when its dark outside!

I have not yet got to the end of MG's diary but have picked up some tips from here that I am noting on my diary. Its funny how people come into our lives at just the right time.

    Good morning,

Wild and windy here, with a very dark grey sky. Well at least it will blow the cobwebs away :)

Got to start shortlisting houses for viewings soon. We've only got one week in October to house hunt  It would be nice to find somewhere and be in by Christmas, otherwise probably not a lot of time until March next year. Got lots of other things to do that week too, so major action list in progress too.

Will try and find some nice property !!!!!! to post :D

Good luck with needs/wants lists Hypno

Hope everyone has a good day :)
