Morning all. It is Monday again. 10 days until payday, and half way through September....
I hope you have a good start to your week. I have a very busy few weeks ahead of me and need to give thought to the "balance" I am trying to achieve in order that I do not burn out.
See....I am learning to think about these things. In the past I would just have carried on regardless, to the point of exhaustion. Now I can see that I am likely to find it tough, and at least am acknowledging that fact beforehand - even if I do still end up carrying on regardlessIt's got to be a start, hasn't it!

Morning Hypno, don't forget to use your friends to lean on - virtual and real. You will get through this xxxx
RED - so sorry to hear about your worktopI left mine on the draining board - didn't want to leave it outside in case it burnt a hole through the decking!
Lethal stuff - perhaps we'll just stick to mucky ovens in furturex

Good morning Hypno,
Your frittata recipe reminded me of a cheesy egg bake I used to make if I had pasta/potatoes left over. I didn't normally bother with the bacon, just the cheese and egg and skimmed milk mix & I'd add any left over vege's & some frozen peas. To cut down on the calories/fat I always use very strong cheddar, as you need far less, because you use less it doesn't normally work out dearer (when it's on special I bulk buy, and cut it into sections sufficient for a meal, then freeze). Also add a little shake of parmessan to make it cheesier. Dust with dried mixed herbs or fresh if you've got them.0 -

Sorry to hear about the work top damage.
I had a nasty chemical burn from an oven cleaner when my gloves leaked, it took ages to heal properly. Now I try to avoid as much as possible and if I do I wear the heavier duty gloves, and the ones which are longer so less chance of drips going on your arms.0 -

Happy Monday Hypno!
Oh the worktop is fine now, it appeared to take the 'gloss' off but I think over weeks I washed it off, or else the rest became as bad but now you wouldn't notice. Now I put the bag on the draining board, like a sensible girl!
