Am so hoping car is minimal spend, H. Don't forget to check back with me to ensure your cleaner does all she can in two hours, if you need to/like! You can do LOADS, as someone said above. I do a 4 BR house in that time - it is v tidy, though.....most people like 2 hours slots anyway, as keeps cost down, just a question then of priorities ...though one of my clients has 4 hours...it is v big though, and joy of joy, I get to change one, if not two, beds. And these beds have pillows, duvets, the finest buttery sheets, comforters and cushions!! Despite this, I enjoy it. Saddo, I know.

Oh Mrs R I wouldn't mind you giving a brief list of what could/should be done by a cleaner in a couple of hours. I have been wanting to get a cleaner but only 2 housr can be fitted into my budget so I thought it might not be worth it. But from what I've read on Hypnos thread it will be very worth it :D I am very tempted :D
  • Hypno well done to DD..can't say I expected anything different from her, from reading your diaries your children sound like very hard working and achieving children...mmmmm wonder where they get that from  :A

Fingers crossed for a cheap and quick car repair.

A levels at 6th form for her next. She is very much looking forward to it.

The car has been fixed.......for free :j Seems that it was just something that had flicked up and was catching on something else, so once they had freed it, put it back together again and taken it for a test drive, it was sorted. And because OH work use this place for servicing stuff, they didn't charge me for their time.

    Am so relieved!

Red, I don't qualify for EMA, although it does exist here.

Also don't qualify for any sort of assistance with transport, so £358 for a bus pass for the next year
