Well, no closer to knowing what is wrong with the car - OH took the wheel off it but says he doesn't think there is anything wrong with the brakes.

So, we have deposited it at the garage, and will wait and see what they find tomorrow :(

Hope you have all had a reasonable day!

Am glad I went for the run - the rain stopped, and the air was much fresher as a result. It was very hot, but quite nice. Did 7.5 miles so worth the effort.

Will be off for a shower in a mo, then back to the painting!

V, the cleaner will cost me £16 a week, so if I have to give up something else, it will be worth it for the help in the house, even though it is only 2 hours.

Hypno, I too have a cleaner, £15 a week and well worth every penny, the 2nd week she came hubby said 'she cleaned the bath again'...er yes most people clean their bath regularly:o I would rather do a few MSs to pay for her or go without new shoes:D The other upside is I now HAVE to tidy up at least once a week!!

It's funny to read back to the time when you were more like me now, i.e when you were trying very hard to make min payments and not use cc. Of course, since I threw cc's in fire during a 'discussion' with DH, I just end up being late with payments when I have no money. However, like you keep telling me, it does get better and reading the old diaries proves it! Ta Ta!

Am glad that you are seeing how it used to be for me Red. Sometimes when I say "believe me, I know how it feels" or "honestly, it does improve", I thik people think "yeah right, what does she know".

But as you can see, I really have been there and done that as far as the debt and the juggling is concerned, so I really can tell you that it DOES get better!!

    Keep going!

I read it loads before dipping my toe in - remember that the thread for beginners is there for questions - they are very helpful and knowledgable there, and would rather answer questions from newbies than see them make big errors!

My MB tip is to read, read read and read again, but it is worth doing!
