  • Am so hoping car is minimal spend, H. Don't forget to check back with me to ensure your cleaner does all she can in two hours, if you need to/like! You can do LOADS, as someone said above. I do a 4 BR house in that time - it is v tidy, though.....most people like 2 hours slots anyway, as keeps cost down, just a question then of priorities ...though one of my clients has 4 hours...it is v big though, and joy of joy, I get to change one, if not two, beds. And these beds have pillows, duvets, the finest buttery sheets, comforters and cushions!! Despite this, I enjoy it. Saddo, I know.

Thank you Mrs R - I will take you up on that! She doesn't start for a couple of weeks as she is only doing term time for me. My house is a 4 bedder but I reckon she will get a lot done here in the time that she has. Mind you, I once had a cleaner that I employed for 4 hours a week, and she reckoned that the house was *so big* that she would have to do upstairs one week, and downstairs the next week!

Now, my house wasn't exactly messy or cluttered at that time in my life, and although I have a reasonable size house, it is not exactly huge, so needless to say, that particular cleaner became surplus to SOA requirements very swiftly!

Sending positive vibes for an inexpensive car, and good GCSE's to all who are waiting with baited breath.

finally had a sunny day today, so managed washing woohoo. weather is going to be rubbish again for the next two days. And the DS's have cross country again tomorrow - this is the actual race! So I think that they are going to get very very wet

DD Passed her GCSEs with good grades. Given all that has gone on this year, we are more than happy (and just a little relieved)!!

    That's another hurdle hurdled :D

Well done for dd results :j:p- what's next for her - college?

A cleaner and a gardener - WOW - I'm very jealous LOL :p - not really - just glad to see it all coming together for you.:T

Hope the car isn't too poorly and can be remedied quickly and as cheap as possible.

That df date is coming very close :D - I know you want to get df by then - but in the great scheme of things - a couple more months wouldn't really make that much difference - take the pressure off if need be and make slightly lower payments - be careful the added pressure of meeting the self imposed daedlines isn't too much as well as EVERYTHING else you are achieving and managing at the mo. You are doing great:beer:

Raining here today AGAIN and it's freezing - who nicked summer - it started off sooo well.....and look at it now.
