Am so RELIEVED about your car. Woke up this morning, and thought "Uh uh, it's Hypno's car today...." Isn't t'internet marvellous?
And my DS did 3 GCSEs - he's 15 so yr 10 - but didn't think to call in for the grades.....probably that's a BOY thing.....not much has been made of it by school either TBH, as these are just bonus ones I guess....but we will call tomorrow.
Keeping Motivated - yes of course, v happy to share what I can do in 2 hours - whatever the size of house, I can do all the basics in 2 hours, whatever else gets done depends on size and general tidyness - but I do work hard and really go at it (love that phrase).....as I have my own imposssibly high standards to meet all the time....I also have my "signature touches"....(the kettle and toaster clean and polish with the finest Maison Belle cleaning products, the fanning of the post etc, which keep me amused) - anyway, happy to list if you'd find it helpful.....

Very many congratulations to DD on her GCSE results - particularly, as you say, with the changes in family dynamics. You, and she, must be so proud - I'm delighted for you
Good news to on the car. What a good day :T
Mrs R - I'm really interested to read more about your 2 hour cleaning schedule. Do you provide all the cleaning materials and take your own vacuum cleaner and window cleaning kit in the back of a car/van or do you use the home owners own choice?0 -
I am sooooo signing up as a client of the Norwich franchise of HM when it happens!
I know what you mean about "signature" bits, though Mrs R. At our last house, we had a cleaner and she always folded the ends of the loo roll over like in hotels. She came to clean every Tuesday, and we always managed to get the children to help tidy up on a Monday because Tracey was coming to clean on Tuesday.
When we couldn't afford to pay her, Tracey had to go but every Tuesday OH would sneak around and fold the loo roll, so that the children would still think she was employed and would therefore help with the housework on a Monday
Needless to say, eventually one of them piped up "Tracey doesn't seem to do as much as she used to do" and we were rumbled, but it was good while it lasted and very MSE.
I would be v interested to see the list too and look forward to you posting it, although it may make me feel rather inadequate!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Sooooooo pleased about the car H, and DD's results - great day all round :T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
