  • Keeping Motivated - yes of course, v happy to share what I can do in 2 hours - whatever the size of house, I can do all the basics in 2 hours, whatever else gets done depends on size and general tidyness - but I do work hard and really go at it (love that phrase).....as I have my own imposssibly high standards to meet all the time....I also have my "signature touches"....(the kettle and toaster clean and polish with the finest Maison Belle cleaning products, the fanning of the post etc, which keep me amused) - anyway, happy to list if you'd find it helpful.....

    Mrs R

Oh how good is that... 'signature touches'...well if I do get a cleaner and she doesn't do signature touches then she's a gonner :p

And yes the list would be helpful please and sounds like not just to me :D

OOh Hypno I too have been thinking about your motor today! Well done to DD and I am raising a large glass of vino to you both in my Holiday Inn as we speak!!! Having a really nice time but have stupidly blocked the pin of my card today so am having a faff with that! LOADS of great shops down here and paid Thursday and wanted a treat after my training but can buy hee haw without being able to get my hands on cash!!! Will attempt to sort tomorrow as they have Zara Home here (faints) and i do fancy a piece for the flat!

My grocery spend this month has been teeny as I've never been at home. However I have NOTHING much in so pledge £50 for me for next month and I'm with you on the Aldi and Lidl bit Pania. My Lidl is in a rough part of town and makes Aldi look like Fortnum and Mason but I live right over the Aldi so bring it on!!!

Hugs to all and Mrs R I do love a bit of cleaning myself!!!

Good news about your daughter's GCSE results, Hypno - I get very cross when every year at this time there's a lot of muttering going on about exams getting too easy. Why begrudge all the effort these kids put into their GCSE's and A-levels? And why the surprise when the A-level pass rate is high? As it takes two years of work, time and money to put someone through an A-level course, it seems logical to me that the teachers would not enter someone for the exam if they had no chance of coping with the work and getting the grades?

Bet you are really relieved about the car - it lives another day!
