Hi Hypno and everyone - I wanted to post to say I too have a massively expensive month this month and no MS money due in as I've not had any jobs lately so I took the plunge and listed things on e-bay. I do list on there from time to time - hardly have anything left to put on since having LBM and listing and carbooting anything possible. Anyway I was trying to reduce the amount of clothes I have and gave some away, others were thrown away - big help with who put the 'i'm not worth it' quote on here so many thanks for that :D as it really helped me look at things in a new way. So I put some things on e-bay and have just made £96 and the postage is all covered too.

I did it in bits - photo'd a few things as I decided they could go - usually took pictures in good light in the morning and then after work listed the items so it did not seem like a mammoth task.

I am sure this is something you have already thought of so sorry for the big post (oops :o) but I absolutely did not expect the items would bring in so much money.

Oh - also wanted to say thank you to the person on here who suggested listing used tickets - I always save mine from concerts / football/ cricket etc. - haven't sold them all as yet but over several weeks I keep re-listing them and have easily made £50 from these too and found them very quick and easy to describe.

Hope everyone is well - I too am very pleased it is friday and have promised myself a lie-in on Sunday!

Well done DDFW - that is a good amount to be bringing in. I have shied away from ebay for a while now, having got fed up with it earlier in my debt free journey, but think that now might be a good time to reacquaint myself with it!

no, someone posted on an old diary of mine, bringing it back to the top of the boards, I then posted on it in reply, and it sort of carried on for a bit with people confuzzled as to whether I was wanting to write on this current diary, or the old one :o

Fancy doing that with my confused chemo brain..thought I'd lost the plot :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

See, things will come right :D

I only had a small bit of chocolate cake (well, it was more like a torte than a cake) but it has made me feel rather icky now! That is the sign of a good chocolate cake I feel!

Have brought in the crusts off the loaf at home to make toast for my lunch. Think it will balance out the cake quite nicely!!

Free listing weekend on ebay this weekend. DB has been listing furniture from mums house on it and we have sold virtually everything so far including the piano - two bookcases and two sets of drawers left to list and where is he this weekend ................... on holiday and I have none of the information !!!!

have rather a gammy finger after an accident with the dog yesterday - the dog is fine btw!

have joined myfitnesspal - my sister joined a few weeks ago in the USA - finding quite a good way to log everything I eat and what exercise I do.

DS has gone out to see if he can get some parttime work at a local leisure centre - neither he or his sister have been given any shifts so far at the one they have worked at for the last 3-5 years and others have been given loads - so he is rather annoyed, especially when one of the students home form uni who has been given shifts was complaining yesterday that he had only earnt £800 last month - DS would have been happy with a 10th of that !!!

Anyway - hope everyone has a good rest of the day - its sunny here and quite warm, so may have to sit in the garden for a while !!
